What will the new car have next march? Obvious is turbo engine, but what about features? I've got some below

LED - new style LED lighting system like the F12, no singular bulbs

Turbo air intakes like 991 turbo s

Improved nav and infotainment, apple airplay yet maybe?

Full screen rev counter, nav, etc just like the huracan?

620-650bhp is what they are aiming for?

4 exhaust or keep the 3 like current 458?

Square wheel like laferrari? Maybe not i think

Can't think of any others at the moment

Will lap Fiorano faster than Speciale.

It will more likely be revealed Frankfurt, rather than Geneva.

HP will be well north of 650. Almost everything will be better than the 458 except the sound.

I wonder if ferrari will take over rear steering like porsche does. That would be an amazing handling

    Most likely

    How so?

Nav is not the forté of these cars. My guess is they'll use the same nav as in the Cali T.

Doubt it. I think it will be similar to the current layout.

My guess is they will try to up the 650S, so somewhere in the region of 660-670 hp.

    Three pipes.

    Round wheel.

I think there will be a boost gauge like in the Cali T.

After all, it's an "evo" car, not an entirely new car.

Now, anyone want to take a shot at what colour they will use for the launch?

The rear steering compensates for the flawed rear engine design in a 911. I doubt any true mid-engined sports car will use that.

Hopefully they will have the turbo tune dialed in better than MB F1.

    I'm sorry, but that's a ridiculous statement.

Agree. The 991 GTR3 is a wicked track machine and there is no flaw in that product!

911 were always fast and performed well on tracks. I wouldnt call the design flawed.

You guys are taking me wrong. My gt3 is only a few weeks away from delivery and I have previously owned a 911. But I feel that porsche does stack the odds against itself by building a rear engined sports car and then uses its engineering genius to make it as good as a mid-engined car against all odds and in the interests of preserving the rear seats that no one uses (except kids) and don't even exist in a gt3. The end result 911 is still a great sports car.
But imagine putting 475 hp in a cayman. The 911 would be history.

    A new, higher price? ;-)

    Definitely.

With turbo raise of horsepower and torque, and incorporating things like SSC, known from Speciale,
... that will be the second quickest Ferrari road car around Fiorano.

Maybe I can't see any reason why its (superior) performance would threaten the position of F12 in their lineup. No way. They are different cars' segments. And they have different competitors outside the Ferrari.

A 475 hp cayman would be very good ;)

I know that from a physical stand the rear design is not the best. Porsche made it to a good competitor by evolving it over decades. I really like the design of the 991 and wish you best for the GT3. One of my dream cars! Please post some pics when there :)

The CaliforniaT base price actually went down 1k, because of the gas guzzler tax on the NA cars, hopefully the 458 will do the same!

^ Yeah that option is nice extra but the three exhaust pipes are a must. Just love them.
