I brought it up, because basically it put Massa along with a good few other absolutely ridiculous Mosley overrules, in contention for a WDC that would have been the biggest travesty in recent times in F1 had he won, is it any wonder that clown that brought F1 to consider a breakaway series, got booted firmly out of F1 by his already slapped arse. No fixation from me ...only plain and simple responses to you or anyone else, I let the responses speak for themselves...
I think no one disputes that, Lewis would have passed him trough or after eau rouge because he simply had much more grip from his tyres....
Steve is big enough and knows me well enough to decide if he want's to talk to me or not. If the day comes when he or anyone else decides they should not talk to those who have diferent opinions i'll be the first to leave..... Ps: and yes, i think Alonso is crap and i believe under diferent circunstances, and before Felipe's accident he was clearly slower than the Brazilian.
Wrong, i'm a Ferrari fan, a die hard one, so far there are only 2 drivers i could cheer despite not driving a Ferrari , Gilles and Alesi. I do like Massa, because you can feel he loved the team and did all for it, it was down to him Kmi won the title, and he imself earned it next year...he was one of teh best team players Ferrari ever had. I HAVE HUGE RESPECT FOR THE GUY.
Here is good read for those who claim massa didn't deserve it 2008 F1 season in statistics p1/2 - F1 Fanatic As we can see, Massa led 363 laps against 294 from hamilton, that's a full g.p... Massa had more points for finished races 6.06 against 5.76, but lost because Hamilton's Mclaren simply had better reliability, making it 5.44 for hamilton to 5.39 for Massa in points per race. If you look at the average starting position you will see Massa was the best, so this means he was also quick during qualifying.....in the end, it all depends on the way you wan't to look at it, to me , the fact that Massa had more mechanical failures, more team errors, a team mate that was as good as him stealing more points that Kovaleinen ever did to hamilton, makes it a lot more dificult, and despite all that he would have won if not for Renault and Alonso's travesti in Singapore. I Still must add that if the championship was decided acording to both previous points sistems, Massa would have been world champion.
Mechanical failures? Iirc massa had 2 dnfs tbat be caused himself by crashing into people...that is his own fault. Hamilton was shafted on multiple levels. Bad team pit stops and strategy ruining his race, having race wins taken off him etc. multiple bs penalties as well - also the ferrari was the quicker car. At the end of the day massa lost in a superior car to a driver in a slightly inferior one even when said driver had extreme bs thrown his way. Despite all this massa could've won had he not crashed into people and dnfed his own car. Hamilton also deserved 2007. Kimi only won because of team orders and massa letting him through and Lewis's car shut down for 30 secs in last race as well. Kimi definitely most undeserving wdc we have seen in awhile.
If your don't know what you'r talking about you shouldn't say anything at all. Australia....Massa was recovering from a mistake oin the first lap when his car broke down, like Kimi's, because that year the ECU where provided by Mclaren (amazing, they spyed other teams previous year and are gifted with a contract to supply the ECu to everyone else!!!) and Ferrari failed to adapt it to the engine, causing them to fail. Hungaroring, Massa led from the start until the engine failed a couple of laps from the end....it was a piston failure. Canada, Massa enters the pits to refuel, ( i don't remenber his place, should be a top 5 at least) they loose lots of tiome and the fuel does not go in, he as to pit again and drops to 15!!! he recovers to 5th Singapor, well he was leading and basicly they screwd up the refuling, finishing any chance for him to get any points Germany, somehow, the team forgot to take the tape from the fron brakes air intakes, so by the end of the race he was having trouble with the braking, making him a siting duck for hamilton and making it impossioble to catch and overtake Piquet. Monaco, he was leading when he made a mistake at st devote, loosing a place to Kubica...later, the team decided to refuel the car in order to take advantage oif a safty car.....bad call, the car was too heavy and he lost the place he had regained to kubica....the winner was a guy that had no chance but was lucky enough to crash against the wall and made a puncture...he was lucky enough to get to the pits, and when he left, a safty car was deployed puting him ahead of the pack!!!!! Yes, Massa also made a mistake, he crashed from second place all alone in Bahrein and hit hamilton in China (i guess it was china) . Now let´s see hamilton, Mechanical failures? none Mistakes from the team? One, Germany when they got the strategy wrong and almost cost him an easy victory, had Ferrari not screwd Massa'a brakes. Driver mistakes? Monaco hiting the barriers (wich actualy gave him the victory), , Canada, crashing against Kimi in the pits, China when he decided to take both Ferraris out at the first corner and got penalized by that. No one can say wich was the better car, in some races it was the Ferrari, some others it was the Mclaren, generally they where pretty evenly matched. As for kimi championship, he made more points and had more victories than anyone else, good enough for me, a can't say the same abot hamilton's championship. More, Hamilton was driving a car that was built on stolen information from a rival team, with a rat passing them information about tyres, pit stop strategies and other stuff that ultimatly led them to disqualification...had it not been for teh sake of the show, neither hamiboy or Alonso would even be alowed to score points on that championship.
Almost go time gents and Massa is Kickin some A$$.... Cant wait so see him on the podium... Nice to see all the haters crawl back under the rocks from which they came.....
I'll agree with the title of this thread so long as he is beaten by at least one Ferrari in every GP.
Whatever happened to all the Massa haters???? Lol... He is kickin A$$ and handing it to Bottas as well. Keep on keepin on Felipe......
