It sold for €195k at auction in 2005, sold for €750k in 2011. Now for sale again in Germany.
Not sure. Basing this on several reports from when the car was again listed for sale by Modena Motorsport which state it was sold in 2011 for that price.
To be fair, it's only really the 288 that can claim to be a truly attractive looking thing. The F40 is all squared off and angles. Effective but ugly. The F50 is my favourite but I can understand why people would say it was ugly The Enzo and LaF are both designed in the wind tunnel and nothing designed in a wind tunnel is ever beautiful. All of them are great looking things in their own way (I used to think the LaF was hideous but I've changed my mind) but none of them are truly what anyone would call 'beautiful'.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No single person has the definition power of what's 'beautiful' or not. Howerer, you have a general consesus, which largely agree all the cars you've mentioned as not 'beautiful', truly are.

That looks amazing... but for the first time I actually find myself wondering what an LAF / FXX K would look like with a full wing, stationary wing integrated into the design like the F50.
