Interesting... Of direct interest from Wikipedia, regarding three-toed sloths:

Famously slow-moving, the sloth travels at an average speed of 0.24 kilometres per hour (0.15 mph).

Which means, boat nautical speed aside, our new Cali Ts are 1,306.666 times as fast as a three toed sloth. Never seem to see that in any of the literature...

No pics from the factory yet, but I've read here that they don't seem to be tied to the stage numbers. Still anxious to see and share. When I was on the factory tour we were able to see the painted bodies being transported into the assembly building, so an argento specimen made its way in during the last couple of days...

The 3 toed sloth is also in grey (argento) , greenish, and blackish, colors of 3 toed sloths - Bing Images

Not all colors are MSA approved, so please do not bring in another animal like a fruit fly or a hound dog which have colors we do not approve of.

Thanks, I did register. The list with options is filling in (at first I called my dealer to see if my order was truly complete...yikes, he assured me his view showed it complete), it seems to update coinciding with production stage, just my assumption. No pics yet, should be 50 or 60 this week.

Could be one reason we get these cars is to be able to outrun the guys with the butterfly nets when they eventually come for us. In their white trucks. With white coats. To put white coats on us...

In the doldrums between stage updates. But looking into clear bra or possible total wrap for DD protection. Xpel or Suntek? Dealer does Suntek, major Xpel location 5 mins from dealer. Thoughts?

I put Suntek on my car, and photo sync on the windows, looks great, according to Pepe, who is the installer to Ferrari and RR, Etc. down here, it is better than XPel

While paddling around in the doldrums awaiting further stage updates, I have made arrangements for updating my garage space for the new Cali T. We have a BOB (Body Opponent Bag) that is seeing less use since the boys are out of the house and we are empty nesters. For fun we have moved it around, even scaring ourselves when we walk in the garage and forget we placed him to be staring at us over a car hood.

Eventually we decided to dress him up and have him look out the windows at the top of the closed garage door as a security function. My neighbor tells me it still catches him by surprise from 150 feet away, thinking there is someone looking out.

In any event, we set him up with some AMG apparel I got at an AMG Challenge event. Smart looking.

So as the next step in my 12 month odyssey I placed a strategic order to the Ferrari Store and recently got a shipment from Milan. I tried it out temporarily to take this pic, then switched back, will have it on when the new car arrives. Then I will have my car and my pit crew...

A black sleeved knock off would be tougher to get an MSA than a white sleeved original... ;)

    It's all about the MSA...
