The torque is at 750nm (same figure as the Cali T). The restriction here is the gearbox, which is rated at 750nm. Then you have the additional torque from the electric motor which is driven directly and not through the Getrag unit.

Ferrari should be proud of their WEC achievements. It's a fiercly competitive class and the 458 GTE is one of the best, if not the best, car on the grid. You can ask Chalstrad about that...

At first glance, it looks mostly predictable....following the same pattern as its respective Enzo and 599 variants.

I recall reading (a rumor?) on these pages that Ferrari was going to utilize one of the alternate LaFerrari designs.

laferrari's unseen concepts: project F150 by ferrari

Can anyone shed some light on that?

Are those front lights strong enough for night driving? The LED array looks very thin...

No. That is just one of four 1:1 scale design proposals they had for the car, starting from nine 1:4 scale proposals.

Yes. I've already been aware of these things. Even have written about some of them in this and other threads recently, meeting Peter and others, as well here, and there.

Now about the FXXK - what about 'actual' car presentation? Has anyone heard anything?

And about official render, the left side of render had 'blinded' headlights. This particular render's issue ;)?

true, but in the current BOP the Aston Martin is the faster car. But the Ferrari has better fuel milage (funny thing to say about a Ferrari). And of course drivers Bruni and Vilander are ahead of anyone Aston Martin has to offer in this department.

Yes, Toni and Gimmie are the highest rank drivers but not to diminish the other pro drivers. BoP is what it is - trying to evenly match different makes. You'll never level the performance of some cars, by not hitting the others. And I can suspect that if the Ferraris weren't restricted so much, they would be faaaster :p. Of course burning fuel also faster - the way we are used to know:).

And here we got the point of FXXK - no racing homologation - no restrictions - pure advanced R&D on a track car.

I've just noticed something interesting, the manettino has a position called "Manual boost (instant maximum torque delivery)". This must surely mean there is a boost somewhere?

Thankfully you are right. Somehow in our moral relativism and our quest to give everyone a participation trophy, we accept answers that are, well, wrong. Thanks, John, for writing this. I was going to comment, but I rolled my eyes. Since you posted, I thought I'd give you some applause.

Because, I know you live for the applause (just like Lady Gaga).

Ferrari are in fact holding onto a alternate LaFerrari design for a possible more rare variant or even a one off. This alternate design has not been seen by the public.

The entire design process of LaFerrari is covered by the book "LaFerrari: Dynamic Art" so I wonder which design concept that would be, when all the concepts are part of a timeline in the book (which can also be partly seen on the wall in the video).

Is this a serious question? How would you know if ALL were shown. He states in the video that he has withheld a design. What's your confusion?

Indeed there is. It works like manual 'Boost to Pass' button with max torque available on request. There is apparently also a Fast Charge button to prioritise charging the batteries asap.
