512 TR " la vie en gris "

I live in the South of France where I can use my 512 TR.

It s a grey One (grigio 700/c) with red leather (black dashboard) N 95832 sold new in France in january 1993 (MY 1993).

I m the second owner since 2008.

This color was an evidence for me when I saw a testarossa for sale in a magazine in the 90's ... I was around sixteen ....

Many years later, I found my 512 TR in the same combo....

I can say that If I had the possibility to order it new I should have chose it like that.

I hope to keep it as long as possible.

I enjoy so much the sound of the Engine and the shape of the car.

I have n t any video right Now but I m sure that list of you (perhaps all) perfectly know the sound of the twelve cylinder.

My exhaust is stock so it still soft.

" la vie en gris " cause my other cars (including daily ) are grey or dark.

Greetings Christian (just back from Théoule-sur-Mer )

 

Sounds like we have enough TR in this area to organize a lunch&drive in the spring or summer! Maybe others could join from a little farther away as well. We'll figure something out!

I will be in the south of france next summer with my red on black 512tr (admittedly rather conventional vs the great exceptional combos here! although the red carpets and original yellow French lights certainly add some character!).

Could be a neat little event if we all meet, let me know if you organise something.
