Hey guys, so here's the first render ! Looking for feedback on what to add/remove - improvements, before locking the spec. The color I asked for is rosso matallizzato but I think this render shows rosso rubino ? Interior is chocolate alcantara. Ferrari is sending more pictures next week so sorry for the lonely one.

If anyone has some photoshop skills, id love to see some alt versions based on this pic.

Beige and Cuoio would be stunning contrasts. Lighter interiors on a convertible makes it less hot to drive topless! Dark interiors are easier to maintain. Perhaps are even tougher to wear.

Alcantara segments give a subtle contrast to interior surfaces and can be a further refinement.

I'd suggest hitting any dealers and car gatherings you can to see as many samples as you can...

    Good luck with your decisions!

Lovely spec. I had an Iroko (milk chocolate color) interior in my 12 Italia and it was beautiful despite all the naysayers before the car was delivered. Go for it.

Thanks for the input guys. My original selection was Cuoio but at the Ferrari atelier they recommended the cioccolato for the aperta version, go figure... Is the car above Fiorano ? Does anyone have a picture in daylight ?

All my cars have a black interior apart from my 599, which has a beige interior so I'm planning on having a different interior

Also Rcktrod, do you happen to have a picture of your old Italia ? I'd love to see how that looks.

Congratulations. I agree you should re-consider the chocolato interior for this car. These are harder cars- the dark brown is more of an elegant type color. Suggest black.

I will be in Maranello when the car is delivered but not before. Specing the car at my local dealership.

Love all the input guys thank you, I decided to change the cioccolato to cuoio after seeing this picture. Black is a definite no go. What do you guys think ?

Honestly .... I don't like the neutral cols of alcantara" mixed with leather especially I find them sickly and a little matchy matchy. Of course this is all personal. If you like them, get them....but watch out for marks !

Black interior. The cuoio seems to out of place with those dark colors.

I am so sorry, I thought you asked for pics of Fiorano in the sun. Here's a youtube video that shows the iroko interior very well.

Jdstyle: the car will be yours, the choice is yours! The Speciale Aperta is a very special car and desserves a special combo if you like it. I also ordered mine with unusual color combo for the same reasons, ands also because I already own rosso corsa/nero F cars and sometimes it's good to get out of beaten tracks!!
    Enjoy!!!

I think it looks great. The trick is to balance the 4 colors in the interior here, black, silver, cuoio and red. You could eliminate one color by having the bits that are currently black be cioccolato so they are essentially a darker version of the cuoio and maybe eliminate the red bits by having brown carbon.

Oh I only meant the seat colour, I don't intend on having that many colours in the interior just beige

My speciale is all blue medio alcantara and just the seats are in couio! I personally love the contrast and feel its different. To be honest unless you go nuts with the colors, they all look amazing. It comes down to choice….I can't wait until my car goes into production in feb! I will try and upload the renders.

    Good luck!

Black interiors are boring. Most every econo car in the world has black/gray interiors. Black in a convertible is just too hot as well. Had a corvette convertible and a 355 GTS with black interiors. They were too hot to sit in if left out in the sun with the top down
Part of the fun of ordering a Ferrari is getting to spec out a cool interior that accents the color of the car
