Deposit 19 months ago, picked options in early June, Since then
    - sat at Jersey to clear customs
    - then no transports available for a few weeks
    - then snow storms tied up the passes.

Car arrives Thursday and does NOT clear inspection. Could be something major but I will not comment until the issue is resolved.

This has caused me to reach a boiling point and determine my next actions. My '12 was a factory order and in the three+ years of ownership the car sat at the shop for approx. 19 weeks. Not willing to do this again and to have it in the "shop" before I put a mile on the T makes me extremely worried.

Martin, the ports are packed for christmas, same for customs, should you remember my posting it took around 6 weeks just for being in 90. CaliGirl had her car held up as they made a mistake on her leather, she needed to await the replacement leather. I also left my depost over a year ago, which makes your wait and my wait seem much longer than those who ordered in June

Perhaps I was too vague with the issue. How tolerant would you be when you find out the engine has to be replaced but that could take a while as they may want to old block to see what went wrong and then wait for the new crate to arrive. Different magnitude from flaws in the leather. New features in 2016 and only 4 months away to start ordering, I will look at that.

That's very frustrating. Looking on what little bright side there may be...I guess it beats you finding out that you needed a new engine. My condolences.
