Is there a general sentiment in the Fchat community about which type of interior, Alcantara or a Leather, would hold up and look best 15, 20 or 30 years from now if properly maintained over the aforementioned time frames?

I personally would rather have the "fake leather" used in today's cars. Real leather is a pain in the a$$ to maintain. Just my opinion.

your 348 is 23 years old-- is it leather and not holding all too well?

The leather in my 76 is holding up beautifully! Looks brand new. From my understanding Alcantara can show signs of wear over time.

Alcantara looks aged from day 1 imo... But some like a "messy non-smooth" look. Both will hold up decently if u take care of it. Just get what is aesthetically pleasing to you.

The 360 has leather. I drive the car more than most (about 10,000 miles per year). I am constantly cleaning the leather and conditioning it.
