Found this today. Anyone know what those things are that are attached to the engine frames? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd like to add a couple of photos of the mods on my car. The credit goes to the previous owner though as he's the one that these subwoofer panel behind the seats custom built, and also the rear view camera wiring is already installed. I just upgraded the rear view camera to a later technology with parking lines. I also upgraded the Stereo System and I installed a new stereo power amp. For those thinking of adding a rear view camera - ensure you insulate the wiring with "heatshield" wiring protector otherwise the wiring will eventually melt as it gets really hot back there in the engine bay compartment. Ask me how I know Dan Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
More specifically if you are interested - they are the remote reservoirs for a Moton setup. Allows more adjustment with the remote reservoir since not everything has to "fit" in the shock/strut body itself.
I'd love to see more modifications posted here. Please share some more photos. Im especially interested in this modification (Attached Image). It was the custom faceplate and navigation system for a 360 Modena that looked OEM. Im wondering if anyone knows where something like this could be made. If I could get ahold of something like this I would love to setup a navigation system running top of the line GPS software and possible Apples Car system. Who knows lol. Thanks Kevin! I will see you there in Hawaii in June this year. My wife and I and some BMW friends are going to meet up there and I will make time to have lunch or dinner with you while we're there in Oahu. Dan
I asked the same question a few months ago, and I also started looking in eBay looking for a seller of that modified 360 faceplate with Nav but I was not successful finding a seller..... Dan
Very Stradale-esque. I have 122718 listed as Bianco Avus, on more than one occasion, from more than one seller - though I've never seen the color sticker, so I don't have any actual proof that it's definitely Bianco Avus. But Bianco Avus debuted with Glasurit in 1981, and they ran it until April, 1997 at which time they discontinued it (or Ferrari discontinued Glasurit's version of Bianco Avus). That same year - March, 1997, to be exact - PPG introduced Bianco Avus into Ferrari's color line, so Bianco Avus has been an available Ferrari color, uninterrupted, for more than three decades. Kevin, thanks for all the pictures and links; lots of interesting Ferraris out there.
It looks like these guys have made one before. It's called a double DIN stereo surround or faceplate. I would love to keep tabs on that Paul Walker car. I was shocked that it didnt sell when listed on EBAY last year for $70k-ish. If I was shopping at the time I would have snatched it up in a hot second. Thanks for the praise. I enjoy looking at the cars...still...especially when the weather is iffy and I can't drive mine. I wish I would have included VINs from the beginning.
