Non-storied cars are sometimes overrated and it depends on the honesty of the seller. A storied car is not necessarily a bad thing. As long as it's been repaired correctly, price is adjusted, and everything is fully disclosed.. I bet many cars out there have undisclosed history but is STILL advertised as clean/no story.. They are posted everyday...and ppl are paying top dollar for these cars.. Carfax doesn't always capture the entire history/accidents etc and it's very easy to get around ... just saying

be cautious I guess.. Do DD, PPI etc and just hope for the best

True and all good points. And often times people have differing opinions on what constitutes as "storied". I know several CS's that have been badly wrecked/storied that don't appear as such on CarFax.

If this estimate is shown to be realistic I'm glad I got mine when I did. I think I might have been priced out.

It is indeed great for all CS owners including myself! Stokpro may have more info on this one. Low miles? Factory stripe?

no, it looks just like mine!

if your one-off CS came available today it'd command a pretty penny

it is great. i think it'll go for $215k+ and while that will be awesome to have a publicly recorded transaction (for all the naysayers and haters lol) i still don't think it will necessary mean that is the "market". there have been a few $200K+ transactions over the past 6-9 months that have probably helped elevate the CS market overall but those examples didn't set the market.

btw, yes, low miles and factory stripe. oh and factory hi-fi and extinguisher. :)

If it is "stokpro certified" then it's a great price! Aftermarket head unit shouldn't be a big deal. Not many CS drivers listen anyway.

I often get asked what the stereo sounds like, my response, I don't know I only turned it on once to see that it worked and never turned it on again :)

The prices on these are just nuts. Especially considering you're stuck with the F1 transmission. I mean, I can see maybe a $20k premium over a regular 360, but not nearly a quarter million. But, I guess that's what they are worth to me, and that's why I'll never own one.

That's because it's not. The description under pic says Rosso. I believe the pic for that car (CS) is in a previous post.

If you've driven both, the CS definitely feels like a lot more than $20k over a "regular" Modena.

There have been many posts regarding how the CS is overpriced since the CS Matket thread started and during this period values have gone up and will do so in the future. Based on his assessment a Scuderia shouldn't have much of a premium over regular 430 either since it's stuck with F1 tranny.

Oh yes I do :) It's just me. If I wanted an automatic, I would have kept my CL Mercedes. Or my M6. I want a stick. And Ferrari builds the best manuals I've come across. Just a shame to see them going away. Now, back to justifying why I need this gated 456 I found to come in to my life........
