Yeah Christian...You can make fantastic pics :)
You will pay them for their work, that is always more pursuasive .... they will do that for you easier ...
You don't understand! I want to know why you are the second time absolutley sure, that they didn't have the know how to do that work.
Misunderstandig .... I am absolutely not saying and absolutely NOT sure they don't know, believe me. I am only very much interested in their performance ! And thus like to see it (if allowed) ...
Ok, but the last post from yesterday show that you say they do that not often and you hope that they have all the data. And your first post was: Sorry Mel, that are big words!
This is what absolutely IS the situation over here in NL. We have 2 official F dealers and both can not refurbish gb's ... they just order them in Italy or find the one little expert shop in NL. The problem with ordering one gb in the F factory is that you have to send your gb to them first, they then "have it refurbished" by the F factory. You get back the gb, of course perfectly refurbished + 6 months (!) guarantee, but with the same oem (wrong) diff. Refurbished 512TR gb was offered at F dealer for E 20.000 + Tax and Postage + all work. (Estd € 30.000) Because of all I write above, I am very interested in all gb refurbishments ... in all countries.
Sorry but the situation in NL has nothing to do with the situation in one of the biggest and high peputated work shops hier in Germany! Eberlein is the only Classiche workshop in Germany and they do all the engine and gearbox works in house on a high level, from the 50is to the modern cars!
Mr. Kunz from Eberlein just send me some pics from the work shop! Really nice impressions! Looks fantastic! I have a question about the diff! I bought the diff from Forza for 1.850 pounds plus Vat. 2.262 pounds incl. shipping. Differential carrier (155099) - Detailed item view - Forza Components Ltd On the diff i got, the name Gripper is shown and after a PN i got this link: Gripper Differentials - Ferrrari 512 - In stock, call or buy online Is that the same diff? Or is the Forza another version?
It is an old website advertisment of two years ago of the same diff when it was invented by Phil and Gripper, mainly to investigate if people would react to that offer and order it. It is not possible to buy direct at Gripper factory anymore I was told by Gripper.
Mel thanks! Phil send me a mail too! The Forza diff by Gripper for 1.850 pounds is up to date! Sorry if i bring confusion.

Can´t wait to drive Tessi! Service from Mr. Kunz from Eberlein was a real pleasure!
