Anyone going to this? I will probably stop by to check everything out. There is a P1, the yellow 918 and a Venom GT I believe. Should be a nice turn out and great day for it.

That was me man. Not sure what to say, it breaks my heart but what can I do. She was driving perfectly and right before Barker I heard a pop and thats all she wrote. Thanks to the stupid construction and closure of Skinner exit, I wasn't able to exit so I pulled over and watched her go up. I've seen better days for sure.

Stay positive man. Another brightside is you can find another one now.;)

Btw, if you want me to post the pic my friend sent I will. May be a little too soon, but it's something to have in a scrapbook. Because I know you're a scrapbooker. :D

    Jay,

I am so sorry to hear the bad news! I have never had a car of mine ever burn (knock on wood) I can only imagine how sick to my stomach I would feel if I had to stand there and watch it happen!

Happy to hear you're unhurt and otherwise good. Maybe Santa will drop another one in your stocking on Christmas day?

Thanks man I appreciate it. Yes I was able to get stopped and out with no issues aside from breathing in a little smoke. It was a sickening feeling and looking at the pictures on my phone doesn't help.

I will look for another toy one day, right now anything that old just scares me but I am sure I will get over that. Anyway, everyone enjoy driving your babies and be very safe this weekend.

    Thank you Will.

True Nick, that's why I wanted a KG instead of a beetle that you see everywhere.

OMG Jason, I am so sorry to hear about your car. Cars can always be replaced - but people cannot be. And you are one of the best.
Glad to hear that you are ok :)
