Worth every penny - nice car.

I have the same car only black - was about $140,000 list when new - my wife & kids would shoot me if i ever sold it - car handles much better then you would expect it too - the handling was tweeted along with the transmission - great way to get a great car a great price

 

We have a similar car! Regular auto though, with dark wheels, Cuoio leather and nose winglets. Always get compliments on the colour. 26K miles and keeps growing on us.

Thanks! Hides brake dust well. Although less a concern after getting Porterfield R4-S pads. Same bite, but less dust. Also changed the alignment a bit for quicker turn-in, but not so much as to destroy front tires too early. Makes for a much livelier car.

 

If you turn off the traction aids, this car can really travel

 

Wow, I have one in different colors and I can tell you I would not sell it for this price. Great car, severely underrated, and under appreciated.

 

was this only model with the f1 transmission vs the automatic?

In 2007 and years prior, and in other models like the QP, another F1 called the duo select was available in addition to an automatic. From 2008 and and in subsequent years, the GT has only been available in an automatic except for this limited edition. The duo select was a dog, terrible. The F1 superfast in this car is glorious. The duo select cars can be identified by a small toggle on the center console for reverse identical to that found in the 360/612. You see this in a QP or GT, do your research what you're getting into.

 

1 of 399 with the cambiocorsa F1 transmission, same as the 599, amazing car and sounds incredible.

John, you should pull the trigger on this one! As long as everything checks out fine you'll have an awesome car on your hands for $65k! Easily my favorite year for the Gran Turismo.

 

How exactly do you tell the difference between having the 599 F1 transmission versus the basic Automatic with Paddles? I see the description above, but can't see the level of detail needed in the photos.

 

Look at the center console...and its lack of a gear lever?
