Folks, my last few posts have been made during a very difficult time in my life and some lashing out at the absurdity of a few posts.
At issue here is a car for sale, well below market value, beautiful condition, low miles and priced at what you would pay for a chevy pick-up truck you throw dirt into and drive up a gravel road and pee your name on the road. 30K.....comprende' If you want a z-28 that has been under a tree for 15 years your going to pay more than 30k and your costs have only started..you used the wrong example.
Some have seen the real fact here, a chance for someone to own and drive a "Red" at a very reasonable if not just plain damn low price. I am sorry this has gotten the ire up of a few shower singers in the crowd, some who don't even own a Ferrari shout and spit venom the most. It is only 30k and it handles far better than your chevy pick-up truck.

Are you kidding me this is drama at its best ! I've had so much fun keeping up with this thread I'm thinking another 20 pages and Tom's gonna get a reality show or movie offer. Someone is going to buy Tom's car and just think of the back story. I'm loving this ! Thanks Tom GLWS

Is the salvage title due to flooding?

*** see post 10 before you proceed...........

Lets say you called on a car, ie Ferrari, and asked the price...and it was given...you then said oops! to expensive, I withdraw my interest in that vehicle.

Now you call on a car with a given price, then you ask or are told of the title issue....
You then say oops! ..... I withdraw my interest in that vehicle...

For what ever reason one owner declined to include the price in his ad does not concern you no matter your reasoning, as you have declined interest in the car. Brow beat him all you like with your display of indignant nosy rants and raves but it is none of your business in the first place.
Or, you can try the one with the price posted and be entertained while you display further petty ignorance of the issue and drop the soap all you want while singing in the shower. I hope you don't get too confused by my example of sale ads and responses. It is for the other lighter side as I am sure it is to heavy for the few. Happy Holidays, Tom

The problem with you Tom is that you are having a hard time understanding the issue that most have taken with you - and that is your lack of being forthcoming and "dodgy" answers.

Seriously, instead of owning up to any of it like a man, you continue(d) to point fingers as if it was everyone else's problem, not yours.

Your first rebuttal to the title issues were that it everyone else's fault that there is a perceived issue with the title.

To this very minute, you are still attacking others for their interest in this matter. To this very minute you are withholding WHY a salvage title was even given. If it's a golf club, big deal. That's probably the LEAST CONCERNING reason as to why a car would have a salvage title. Right up there with hail damage. You could have turned this title issue into a POSITIVE if it was something as benign as golf club damage. Someone gets a new painted, new panel car at a steep discount.

Instead your continued weird behavior and vague answers have turned this into the circus that it has become.

I was a buyer. Made an offer on here, albeit one that was not enticing to you. So I was an interested party. I don't have problems with salvage title cars. I have problems with owners not being straightforward about them in our exotic car community. Hence my reported questions and posts.

Do yourself a favor and divulge all of the details. Stop holding back info and your chance of selling your car will go up tenfold.

    Please re-read post 407.....
You no longer have interest in purchasing the vehicle, your reasons are your business. What I don't understand is why you keep beating a dead horse with me.
The issue is moot now and your repitition will change little in this "circus" that most are finding a bit entertaining along with knowing take life easier and don't sweat the train after it has left the station. Humor is in the longevity of life for most, the rest? they sing in the shower, loving hearing themselves sing the same verse over and over.

Hello, now you have really got us excited. I suspect the wife or girlfriend got upset and took a golf club smashing and denting the poor car as a reward for the owners neglet of affection towards her. Though since I have no interest in your car, Im sure you will remind us of that, LOL.

Whoever posted this has WAAAAY too much time on their hands. First of all, the seller is a private seller. He is not best buy, not an appliance store, nor a salesman trying to hawk goods. Get a life pal. Please nobody else respond in defense to these childish remarks and rants that have nothing to do with selling a car privately. Nobody tried to defraud you, get a hobby, get a life.

I can't believe this thing is still for sale, it's a bargain. All it needs are the stock wheels back and its a keeper. I am tempted.

I've seen plenty of ads with call for inquiry, posted by large companies. He has never not disclosed the title issue with any one who has called to inquire about the car. As verified in early post in this thread.

He has for his own personal reasons decided to not advertise every detail for the general consensus. He has and is willing to discuss any issue\ question with what he feels is a qualified party. Why all the uproar I'm not sure. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

so sorry why you can't disclose why your car has a salvage tittle. Show pics/docs/paperwork from theft, accident or worst flood due to water damage.
It would stop this discussion as nobody is hostile to you even if feel that way.
Just try to help. Plese be up front, your car is nice as is, fact is, as is, it is. Good luck.

I can, I could, but I won't, not publicly, so that the next owner not become so "infamous" an owner before his consent. But, I have told you this...it was a golf club....your imagination is free to reign from that point.
I have also stated that, NO, no flood damage.

How does a golf club total a car? If you said it was a deer, we would all assume that there was a collision with a deer. On the other hand, if we use our imagination, which is what you seem to do quite well, we can assume what? Some shady character, who mislead someone, slept with someones wife, or even worse was retailated against but a tough guy with a golf club? That tough guy took the golf club and smashed every panel of the car, along with all of the windows. After the golf club smashed all of the windows and panels, the owner of the golf club urinated in the interior of the car to be sure his vengence was best served. The Geico-Pig came and deemed the car totaled, then an autobody shop bought the salvage and fixed it with a bunch of bondo, spit and bubble gum, and you offer it to sale today with the pretense, "But, I have told you this...it was a golf club....your imagination is free to reign from that point."

Anyone else want to use their imagination? Perhaps you can enlighten the F-Chat community as to what really happened, be truthful for once, and maybe sell your car? Hope I am not coming off as too harsh, just using my imagination.

Hey, I just bought my first "F" car, 1988 328 GTS. What a blast. Had early 911's for a dozen years. This thread is no where near the drama on the Early 911S site. Just sayin'. Ciao!

Every time I come to this thread and read more of the ignorant pointless posts I lose a few IQ points. Now I'm too stupid to stop looking. On the good side I am having much more involved conversations with my goldfish. This will be my last post as if I read anymore I will no longer have the ability to spell words or make sentences.

The first with the RIGHT QUESTION!
Wrong answer, I will give you credit for imagination, that is truthful for the complete thread.
Trust your government do you?, then why doubt me? I don't come to help you and have no reason to be untruthful to anyone here but that does not mean I have to show you my birthmarks.
