Bob, I frickin love it lol
Ok, not being selfish now. I do not think they are there yet. The brown one that sold a few months ago was much better and 100% original with low 4500 miles. If I had to guess 150-180. I think this car is good enough NOT to be in the low 100's. original radio missing
I'm not believin' the ask. But yes they have changed. Everything is crazy at the moment. Two years ago this was a $40-45K car.
225.000 USD or 180.000 is too far expensive for te current market ! I know a much much nicer Jarama GTS for sale in Europe for 120.000 or 150.000 USD, pm me if really interested to buy.
This particular Jarama seems to be rather early as evident from the missing vent openings at the rear part of the wings (they are helpful avoiding overheating in hot weather). The brake boosters are not the proper Girlings, but some cheaper other make. Not sure, but I do not see the proper ignition coils where they should be. Air conditioning is missing (at least the compressor). I wonder why the two header fans are placed in the boot? The bad looking upper surfaces of the ventilation ducts (right and left side of the engine compartment) are very authentic and "factory original" like that *loool* (no joke). P.S.: Of course Jaramas are now worth this money! ..... ;o)) ;o)) ;o))
For sale last weekend at Epoqu'Auto in Lyon (France). Olivier are you know this one? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes I know it : #10.266 it was for sale by Peeters Exclusive-NL for years then it went to Jack Cars in Belgium and sold early in March 2014 to France... How much do they ask for by now ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The front bumper/grill modifications do not improve the looks (for my taste at least) Right! *looool*
Oh man, I love it. the fatter rear wheels and the opened grill. feels like the hot rod treatment some Daytona's get, with the 9 inch boxer wheels in back. BAD ASS. take the air boxes off the webers, custom, headers and exhaust... MUSICA
No. That is not acceptable with that grill and bumper treatment! Absolutely inacceptable! Not only for esthetical reasons. Alone because this leads to the loss of the appropriate Lamborghini feeling, when having to exchange one of those header fans. This would seem to be done in minutes on this mutant . A proper and Lamborghini-adequate replacement job needs to take 2 hours, at least, beginning and ending struggling with the bumper (in particular if you need to do the job alone). P.S.: Guys like you probably even customize orange husqvarna chainsaws and rob them their originality and future value
Was that Bill's car, Mrp_e? From Massachusetts? He got it from Roy, did Roy get it back after that? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/141513626-post953.html
Yes, Bill's car from my records. He is a lucky guy and beat me out on the deal of the decade. Looks like he was a good steward. Here was the ad: 1971 Lamborghini Jarama GT Lynnwood, Washington | Cats Exotics Roy posted for a screaming deal, and I missed by a couple hours.
He did have a few issues with the cars. I know the brakes failed miserably, locked while driving, I think (beats the opposite!). But he had a few years of enjoyment with it. We tried but were never able to get together. He lives a little over an hour drive. BUT that drive is some really great New England back roads.
was mine, gary b sold it for me. i had pretty small gremlins, mostly due to it sitting before i got it. loved that v-12, wow - and the interior was in really great condition. bradan polished her up real nice and refinished the wheels before gary did the clutch brakes and exhaust. no idea who bought her. had one buyer bail out at i think 130 (gary was holding out for 150) and we sold it for 120. if it gets the estimate, i'll be consoling myself in the diablo heavily.
