Gorgeous car... I hope I find one just like it when I am ready to buy.
Save your smart comments. I can certainly afford it. Once again my personal opinion, which I'm entitled to, is the car is priced too high for a 2011 compared to what the market dictates. It is flooded and saturated with 2011 458's for sale many of which are much less and still highly optioned. His car is beautiful, well documented, well cared for, well maintained and it's an amazing car for someone but let's be honest, there's a reason it's not selling and getting the action it should be.
Agreed and one who doesn't mind paying a slight premium for it. It will happen just takes time and patience when trying to maximize value out of something. The car is beautiful.
And I honestly think your comment is irrelevant and better left unsaid perhaps? Good luck finding an INCREDIBLY spec'd, LOW mile, ALL SERVICE HISTORY, NO STORIES, NEVER tracked 458 owned by one of the most METICULOUS guys on earth for much less. This car is for someone that doesn't want to blend in to your every day Red, and the new Red (being White) Ferrari. And since you are so interested in my price and why YOU believe it hasn't sold, it actually was sold to a current member, (for just a hair less than my current asking) and I had passed on two very similar offers to that. I'm not desperate, not an idiot, and not willing to sell well below its actual worth to someone that is looking for a deal of a lifetime, or just simply can't afford it to begin with.
Thank you. You are spot on. I truly believe it is priced quite fair. Having said that, I am open to REASONABLE offers within CLOSE proximity to my current asking.
Thanks! Have had a few offers lately, but geeeZzzz....... people are A) Insulting. Or truly can't afford it (hence the lowball offers). or B) Cheap! Letting a great car get away for as little as a $5k difference.
It is a buyer's market right now with so many out there for sale. You'll have to find someone who really love it. But that's a really stunning color, GLWS!
Assuming this car is still for sale, I'm very interested. Shoot me a PM (hoping they'll work since I just registered here a couple of days ago) or an email at [email protected] Thanks!
I've never much cared for the 458's, but this one is an absolute beauty!! Truly gorgeous car Scud, best of luck with the sale. I hope whoever buys it gives it the same amount of love and care that you have.
Well everyone seems to really love it. They're just not willing to pay for it. lol Thank you Sir. Every Ferrari event I've taken it to, it clearly steals the show with just the color alone. Not to mention the options!
Nice! Why don't you try and consign it at an F dealer? They are able to work financing deals with FFS that may help with prospective buyers....
Thanks for the suggestion. But the thieves want 7% of the selling price. That to me is ridiculous. Especially considering they have absolutely zero dollars tied up being it is not their own inventory.
That's a bold statement without knowing what I was willing to let the car go for. Simply put, I am NOT giving the car away.
I actually think 7 percent is a fair deal. The dealers out here wouldn't touch it for less than 10 percent. On the other hand the dealer will get more for your car than you would. For whatever reason people always pay the dealer more for the same car you can get on the street. I personally have never understood this but that's the way it is.
The core issue here is its winter and there are over 100 458's out there for sale right now. Dealer cars always go for more than private sellers. You can buy a 2011 with 2500 miles for 215k and decent options this car is an example: 2011 Used Ferrari 458 Italia 2dr Cpe at Penske Wynn Ferrari Serving Las Vegas,Los Angeles, NV, IID 11688669 I think yours looks amazing but you will have to find someone who values the color higher than resale red. My guess is you get what you want for it in the spring.
The 2011 Grey 458 you posted via the link, is not very desirable. And that's why they are asking $215k. Wheels/Seats are base. No LED Wheel, and no CF Trim. It will definitely sell below $215k.
