i personally think that metallic paints ( any color) makes this car looks even more majestic and sophisticated, particularly in well-shot photographs.

i also want to know if anyone could shed some light here.
this is a photo taken from justin chavez's flickr. underneath the mirror stem triangle, there is this uneven piece that i am very curious about. i know it might not be fair to complain about microscopic details but i have read complaints about the uneven seam gaps of some other ferraris.

    The well-known 204743/"LAFIAT" in Sweden also has two black/cf air vents. A couple of more pics;

IIRC the locking button for the door sits under the mirror housing.

In Sweden, awaiting delivery... Notice the matte roof.

FYI it is not the Swedish registered LaF in Monaco. That is a different (and much earlier) car.

    Hey Fellas,
Apologies in advance for the poor iphone pics through a window. Last week, I was in Las Vegas, and went to the Ferrari dealership and store at the Wynn resort. They were very kind to me as an owner, but I didn't want to take photos inside their showroom as the signage explicitly stated not to take photos. So, I took these photos on my phone through the glass of the showroom, near the taxi stand.

Anyway, I suspect that this car belongs to Mr. Steve Wynn, though they wouldn't confirm this. Black/Black - absolutely gorgeous. Honestly, though, I like to see the car in red more because it brings out the true beauty. In black, a lot of the details get lost.

Why on earth would they have a sign up not allowing you to take photos? It's a car dealership for gods sake. If they don't want photos taken then hide the damn car or deliver it in a closed truck to the owners home.

You wouldn't believe how they treat photographers at Modena Cars in Geneva (Ferrari and Maserati dealer). No cameras allowed at all, they searched us for all mobile phones, cameras etc. Had to leave it at reception and were given ~5 minutes to take a look at their LaFerrari & F40. Unbelievable.

Ah...yes you are correct about the two air vents but I can't confirm in your pics if they are in carbon fiber and the roof doesn't appear to be in carbon fiber for sure. Thank you for sharing the pictures! :)

I agree with you. I wish I would have been able to take photos. Guess what? As soon as those cars leave the showroom floor, they are CONSTANTLY being photographed. I know my Ferrari lives life in the spotlight of the paparazzi!

Lame policy, I know. But I have a lot of memories, and they were courteous to me as an owner.

IIRC, it's not just the LF, they dont allow picture at all. Same for the Ferrari Store in Manhattan. I guess they feel like if they did, they would have much more foot traffic of people who are not customers..That is my guess.

In this case, not surprising. Modena is the most unfriendly and rude European dealer I have ever visited. It is the first and only dealership I have actually been kicked out of, for no other reason than that the sales manager (whos comprehension of english was nonexistant, and yes it was him as I recognized him from their website) decided to close the doors nearly an hour early on a Saturday of all days.

I've heard good things about their service department though.

That's probably correct. I've experienced it at Manhattan. Weirdly the salesman would open the cars for me etc. but told me no pictures (which is just bizarre as you know they have a Ferrari Store, so they would want all the people in that shop that they could get).

A few friends of mine told me later that the Store Manager came out afterwards and gave the salesman who showed me the cars a right telling off (although I did not witness it).

I'm disgressing, but this form of pretensiousness irritates me. Who and what do these select Ferrari Dealers think they are? A CIA Black Site of some sort?

It's somewhat the same I feel towards many dealers now employing secretarys or receptionists to greet you and "fetch" you a salesman who's just sitting there anyways. What, the Ferrari salesman is to high and mighty to greet potential customers himself? It's an act of snobbery which quite frankly comes across as very awkward.
