Good then stop being PC. Well if people stopped whining about my posts I wouldn't have to whine about being ganged up on. Then I can post in peace. If you think my posts about LH are any different to your posts about kimi then I've got some bad news... Well of course I mention Germans...one of the most transformative periods in modern human history occurred in Germany in 1930-40s. Singhoffs parents were (probably) living through it and you mean to say that they have no opinion or anything interesting to say about it?! Political correctness is so insidious to genuine debate; maybe have a look at that well passed around Stephen fry quote - people can't just simply say "I'm offended" to everything and expect all discussion to end there like it gives them Certain rights. That's effectively winning an argument by not winning an argument (waah my poor sensibilities). we don't want the truth lost to history - all guttering portrayals of the holocaust are already getting swiped under the table for more sanitised versions. Political correctness lends itself to historical revisionism and shouldn't be welcome in any discussion of the holocaust (or anything actually). Again, I ask with genuine interest. To poke fun at Germans (e.g you people gassed the Jews you're all evil) is completely immature and unwarranted and nobody should stand for that. Despite what you may think of me or how immature I may be, talk like that is just despicable and immature. My replies are getting long winded...I must be getting trolled again.
... not Prost, not Mansel, not Piquet, the only other driver in F1 history to score more than two consecutive Grand Prix victories, in a turbocharged vehicle, Ayrton Senna, 1988 (e.g., GBR-GER-HUN-BEL). The only living person on this planet who can say this: Lewis Hamilton, 5 in a row (e.g., ITA-SIN-JPN-RUS-USA), not even Ayrton Senna looking down from on high could say that. Interesting observation; the astute individual out there who made mention of development of a mob mentality, here at the Ferrarichat? Rest assured, this inevitably happens, on all F1 forums (e.g., 1971; Stanford Prison Experiment). In my 6 decades following Formula 1, never have met a fellow follower of F1 I'd ever care to know. Prone to name-calling, and personal slights, they're generally miserable people who look upon anyone with a differing perspective on life as, "a troll." Were I face-to-face, and these people here at the Ferrarichat had guns? I'd be face down on the asphalt, bleeding out, dead several times over. You can always see it coming. How you know when the whole thing's about to degenerate, into a southern style lynch mob (e.g., the speedchannel.com syndrome), is when you see forum moderators, feeding off the ad hominems (e.g., Lynndie England; Charles Grainer). Driver forum I moderate, we have a hard and fast rule on ad hominems. Never have I ever seen a Ferrarichat moderator, coming down on someone over an ad hominem -- asj.
Look in the mirror. If in 60+ years of following F1, you've never met an F1 follower you'd care to know, the problem is with you and your nutty conspiracy theories. Get over yourself. Mark
You sir, i find very entertaining. Your posts are so outlandishly ridiculous, that its impossible to even take it seriously. Thank you.
Why even argue, when you pick such a minute statistic, it doesn't matter. For example at 3:57pm I will be the only living person with a forum tag I am RobG to post this message.
Although I doubt that this is the right place to discuss that I just wanted to say that you should think twice before posting...If you would have put your math right you would have seen that my father was 5 at the end of war, my mother not even born so I doubt that they know very much about it...Even my grandmother was just 8 when the Nazis took over so I would rate he rather the first victim of the evil brain wash than the evil himself. As this made her life certainly not easier to live with all this inoculated prejudices this generation does not like to talk about that era because this would mean talking bad about their own parents... When you are talking about this era it is just lack of knowledge so I would not be offended by that but it is just plain wrong what you try to express with that, once again you have talked yourself into something that just gets worse with all your tried explainations...The Jews were convicted without own fault, they were used as scapegoats as the "leading class" was not able to explain why the "master race" failed all the years before so it was easiest to blame someone else.. I do not see any similarities to you at all as you are not a scapegoat but all the "insulting" is a direct result of your own acting, you are not the innocent victim. People react on post like this or your post about "Rosberg would be happily taking a WDC even with a fatal accident by Hamilton". So your comparisation is not just awkward it is also plain wrong...
Well said. Watching toil bury himself and squirm like a drowning worm is very entertaining....as it has been all year.
I disagree. The F1 section has become a wasteland of bickering women dominated by the last remaining few who haven't jumped ship. I can only stand to pop my head in every now and then and always leave wondering why I even bothered. Mark
Maybe you have no sense of humour. toil's posts are ridiculous and hilarious. I get a good laugh out of him...I don't know why so many get their knickers in a knot. Krafty is second in line to toil, but I have to say it's a distant second.
Well it's hard for me to work out what age your parents would be given I don't know what age they were when they had you... Some of my posts are contentious but the point is im attacked from all angles regardless of what I post. Like there was a whole discussion about me in this thread and my posts were fine. The gang mentality therein lies in the assumption that because I posted it it must be idiotic. Ad hominems a plenty. You can't just say because I said a few contentious things I deserve to be attacked in every thread lol.
Most likely not 50 Although some people do not like that I always quote you directly for what I reply to so I do not see a general bashing in there...Others might not be in the mood for that so you have to deal with the fact that they reply quick and easy if they do not like what you say...The discussions about you are basically because people do not share the same opinion how to deal with you. Again you make it yourself to easy when you think that this is just a "gang mentality" and not a direct reaction on what you post...
Well if I enter threads I haven't even posted in and people are whining then yeah.... Kinda obvious that it's not a reaction to what I post. Things I post on innocuous topics (not hamilton related) get hated on too. E.g posts in prediction threads where everyone makes a prediction and I get accused of "trying to predict things" and called an "idiot" when that's what everybody is doing. Doesn't really bother me though. I'm just pointing it out. I just ignore the main whiners now
