Side-skirts started late 1987, and it was not an optional thing, don't let anyone try & convince you otherwise!

I googled for images of Little Tony to see whether his side parting in his hair is on the left or the right.

First time I have ever identified whether a car is LHD or RHD using this method!!

Of all the Countachs you have owned, which one would you like back?

    None.

I have always lived in the present and I don't think cars quite work out a second time around. Ive enjoyed the ones I have had, and am always looking ahead to what's next. I'm the typical revolving collector. Ive only owned a dozen, so I have a long way to go!

Question. My newly acquired Countach has small decals on the exterior mirrors and rear view A, B and so on. Are these from the factory and never removed?

Very impressive video. Taken in Germany I guess. Hope it is not a repost.

Cool. These videos are sometimes nerve racking though. I just don't trust other drivers.

And let's not forget mechanical failures on any car on the road. Though I have to admit it makes real fun to drive very fast for a short distance :) Sometimes the heart wins over the brain ...

in europe they are better behave than here in keeping their lane.

that car must be in top mechanical condition for this, seems effortless on the video.

Watch the video again and listen carefully, to my ear the car seems out-of-tune all along, and in fact as it reaches the upper rev-range you can hear it backfiring whilst still under load! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKVVRTr5AK8

One of these days I'll see the video. By the replies, it sounds like the car is getting a good'ol Italian Tuneup.:)

Great piece on the Countach from the 80s on 60 Minutes; it pretty much sums it up.
