$41,954. Only because I don't know of any QVs that have been in an auction since September. Therefore, if there is no new data, the price should stay the same. In the real world, I do think these cars are appreciating rapidly, I am just not that sure Hagerty is that on top of the 308 QV market.

This after my half-a$$ed post on my own thread about selling my 85 QV for a "silly" price of $55k resulted in four private emails overnight asking about the car.

And no, my QV is not for sale, I was joking when I posted yesterday.
My 9-year old daughter has decided that I am keeping the car.
    Yes, she is my daughter!

$49,000 -- i think the supply is still tight. 308 owners who had dreamed of upgrading are changing their minds i think. (I am one of those -- especially after my car spent some time at SRI last year.)

I just don't typical QV's in the US regularly selling for the mid 60's right now. Not even close.

I see a lot of people ASKING something in that neighborhood, but it isn't what they are getting for them. Overseas, maybe, but not here. A nice 328 perhaps, but not a QV.

Dr. Tommy - you know that all cars are not created equal. For a Hagerty cond 2-3 car - yeah, I'm guessing 45 - 55. For a cond 2-1 car, 65 easy.

The two valve injected cars, yeah - not so much. QV's and carb'd cars though - on the rise.

What would you think that a very nice 85 GTS with a fresh FULL service AND a totally restored suspension and David Helms fuel and coolant hose kit would go for?

give it 50,000 miles and throw in refinished wheels and redyed leather, new tires too.

Basically a tip top needs nothing turn key driver? USA car.

What do you KNOW is the least it will sell for today? $45,000?

Are QV's in demand now? I haven't watched the market in the last 4-5 months or so. I have an all original May 85 car with 36,000 on the clock. Not that I would sell but it's nice to know when you're in the black on your car.
