Quit working out of the blue. Will take in when i can. Passenger side works fine...For piece of mind, is this a fuse kind of thing? Would it set off the (Service!) notification?

As always, any of the wisdom here is appreciated.

Probably no warning lamp. Try reseating the connectors under the seat.

Wanted to share the resolution. Apparently, because the battery had previously lost power, the power seat had lost its memory and related settings. A reboot of sorts was necessary. All new to me. Dealer suggested i disconnect negative battery terminal and wait 10 mins. I did and reconnected and voila, seat working again. However, this affected the electrical management system. Car started but idled very roughly. Servcie at dealer suggested doing the reboot once more, and then turning the car "on" for a few minutes, without starting. This seemed to allow all the electrical components to synch - my interpretation. Started her after 4-5 mins and she was running again nicely. Took her out for a good run and all seemed in good order. Hope my input helps someone else out at some point. Cheers.

If you ever disconnect the battery again, this run cycle will pretty much fix it.

    Run cycle.

Turn battery disconnect switch off and turn off all accessories (stereo, A/C, etc).
Let engine get completely cold or wait at least 30 minutes.
Insert key in ignition and leave for 30 seconds.
Turn ignition to on and leave for 30 seconds.
Turn ignition off and leave for 30 seconds.
Turn ignition on, wait for Check OK, and start.
Let idle with no input whatsoever for 10 minutes.
Turn accessories back on and drive gently for 10-15 minutes at least.
You will have to insert stereo code, if required.

It's the round knob on the inside of the fender, next to the battery!
