I pre-ordered one sans-display case (since it'll go in the wall case)

I thought it was pretty interesting that just signing up and such dropped the price from 364.17 to 298.50 euro. Pretty decent savings...

Oh well, I have the BBR CF edition 1/18 LaFerrari which there are 49 of. I'll have to bust my budget and get this one to...

Does the pre order fee come on top of the purchase price or is it a sort of "deposit"?

I have the CF LF too-number 11 of 49. The pre-order fee is a deposit on the total price with the balance due when your model is ready to ship. I pre-ordered the FXXK with the display case. Originally there were only going to be 100 of those and 200 with no display case. Why is the "10" in silver when it's clearly black on the real car? See the link below for the updated pre-order photo with the "10" in silver.

Nice, I have number 19 aka the car used in the product pictures.

I want the FXX K, but I have to adjust my budget as my financial situation has changed, so not sure I can justify the purchase. It's definitely a no-goer if the car doesn't have an interior (which would surprise me). Perhaps the model pictured is PP.

I would prefer a different color scheme though. Perhaps I'll hold out and wait.

Yes it will have interior. BBR models are typically 'curbside' with no opening parts, but gorgeous paint and articulated details, full interior, etc.

Morry is it a design error that the "10" on the doors is in silver when the real car has it in black? Shouldn't the model match the color scheme of the real thing in every possible way or is that just nitpicking? Do you think they are they leaving off the car name on the side because of the f-bomb connotations? I am glad to hear that it will have interior details.

I am not sure why they are showing this silver vs. black BUT this is a prototype model so maybe the finished piece in March/2015 will have the correct color number??

Why would they have a picture of a prototype instead of digital drawings? Doesn't serve any purpose to picture a lesser-quality model IMO. Get's people wondering, like me with the interior, and the number...

Since they are producing quite a few of these, what are your thoughts on collector value? I don't like purchasing a model I know can be grabbed up for a bargain on ebay the next week.

If you are worried about devaluation, don't buy a new bbr, MR or any diecast in 1:18!
Just wait for 1-2 years and the price is a lot better ( I hardly buy new bbr's) Its worth the wait and production numbers are high enough to make it worth.

Patience is a good thing.. New = expensive ;-)

    I paid $150 for a cmc 250SWB, the 375plus by BBR was $120..

Anyone have any updates from BBR - wondering if they're going to hit the 3/15 date or not?

This will be the first BBR that I've bought directly from BBR so I don't know if their estimated dates are usually accurate or not.

Can somebody who ordered one post some pictures when it arrives? I can't pay for mine until 3/20 so I won't have it until close to the end of March. I hope the paint is a really vibrant red.

The release date has been changed on their website to 5/30/15 with no warning or notice whatsoever. I'm guessing either they did not get enough pre-orders or there has been some unexpected problem with the production of the models themselves. This has never happened to me with all of the times I have ordered thru BBR direct.

To say the least... The really perplexing thing to me is, the model they showed a month or so ago seemed to be pretty well production ready - physical model looked to be done, as well as paint and graphics. Not sure why it had to be pushed a couple of months and change.
