It was because of my car that they had to issued to the recall. They learnt about it because of my car.

IF you want to know about the details, you can buy a 918 and join out 918 owners' FB group and you will learn the last ounce of info.

So Porsche dealers ordered cars to flip them? At a profit?

I was supposed to take delivery tomorrow, but according to this if my car is affected that would be pushed to early next year. Do you have a link to the fb page?

Thank you, i do state out their negative points alot and what i dont like about their car.

I know porsche listens, just wait a couple of months and you will know that all the enthusiast nagging works. Theyre comming up with something for real drivers.

The affected cars are from early productions, around my car's time. The current finished cars don't have that problem, I have had 5 friends who took delivery during the last 2 weeks and none of their cars are affected.

Is it going to be twice the cost of a standard 918, following in the footsteps of the FxxK and P1 GTR?

As long as it's not limited edition, I'm okay.

So one day away from "taking delivery" of your 918 you had no idea of the recall or even if you were gonna receive the car you have bashed for so long, meanwhile some real owners know all the specifics of this recall.

What happened to the 1 v 1 you were invited to at Yas Marina?
Can you show us a personalised pic of "your" P1?

Porsche to replace chassis components in 918 Spyders

It says 1 day ago in the top left corner incase you cant read. How would I know beforehand about this recall? I was supposed to get my car back in june, and got tired of constantly asking the dealer about updates.

The 918 guy never showed up, as for pics of the p1 I posted quite a few pages back

Spot on! :) With a horse badge too!
Speciale A, more precisely. Limited production and open roof...

Oh no. I can now withdraw the words about 918 being engineers' pride. Are they supplied their parts from China? P.R.C nowadays ;)

    Or 988 ;o)

Speciale is absolutely fantastic. What a way to sign off the N/A mid engined Ferrari era. With the introduction of the turbo the new car has its work cut out to move the game on.

Speciale is one of the greatest car out there, it's just too bad the 918 eclipsed it in every way possible. But nothing's wrong with 2nd place in that race, coming 2nd to the greatest hypercar in the modern era is nothing to sneeze at. The Speciale is THAT good.

    918 vs Speciale

    Apples and oranges

Both astonishingly good cars. Paying three times the price better make the 918 a tad more capable, nothing "too bad" about it being greater to some eyes.

I'm not really surprised, honestly. I mean, they are ferrari after all, and you can make fun and criticize them over their testing rules, but you have to give them credit because they know what they're doing. And not to mention, you don't insult the godfather. 😎
