    rolls royce wraith, that is.

bought my OTO new so i can never take the huge hit in depreciation selling, so thats one major reason i never sold the car, but believe me, in the 6 years i owned it, i looked into plenty of alternatives with no big motive.
From bentley super sports, astons, FF, etc... u name it, nothing really replace my oto, until........... my wraith test drive!!

drove it around and found it to be a seriously strange experience, its like driving a toyota previa that is built like a bank vault with an interior better than most homes.
Did numerous full throttle starts and it felt im moving the s.s enterprise, it might be 4.4 seconds to 60 but i dont feel any of it. They say nothing drives like a rolls, and i believe them. because nothing is this heavy, this quiet, this remote, this isolated, but damn i love it!!
some of us have phantom EWBs, but none ever drove a rolls, so this wraith is a huge pleasant surprise.
im still not sold until i went online and find some big rim pictures that suit me, so now i will start thinking about parting the 612 =) for big money! haha!

The Wraith is supposed to be the first RR drivers car, since traditionally you drive the Bentley and are driven by someone else in the RR.

From what I can see, the 612 probably has a little more room in the back and a lot better performance in terms of maneuverability.

Also, once at speed in 6th gear, the 612 can be fairly silent on well-paved highways. Since the Wraith is newer, it will probably have more modern amenities. However, the all leather interior of the 612 is probably more opulent than the Wraith.

The Wraith is a new direction for RR and I'm sure it would be a great drive for isolationists. However, I'm pretty sure most of the people in this forum would prefer to drive a car that keeps them connected to the road.

    Good luck on your decision.

    No, no, and no.

1st the back seat of the wraith is maybe 3-4 times bigger than the 612.
And after driving the rolls and going home in my 612, even my full leather floor oto interior feel like a Home Depot garage project compared to the sheer opulence of the wraith.

That blue on black Wraith looks amazing. That would quite possibly be my spec. Would order something more unique on the interior though.

I'm not sure I would own a Wraith, but it deffinently looks very nice.

I drove a Rolls for the first time this last summer, a new drop head. Back in the 80's, we used to jokingly refer to Cadillacs and Broughams and such as land yachts, but Rolls truly is. It feels like you're sailing the road, not driving it. I don't know how much different the wraith feels, but the comment that 0-60 in 4.4 feels like nothing at all tells me that regardless the engineering that led to it, and there are other cars like the Panamera that leave this impression for entirely different reasons, it's a car I find interesting but wouldn't want to drive regularly. if I were to be chauffeured, I'd want not a land yacht, but a land jet.

I want to hate the wraith... But they are awesome. Really cool cars. They are definitly not a sports car! But they are very fun in their own way.

I won't lie- I own a 612 and I've been GAWKING at the Wraith since it came out!

I love all my F cars and wouldn't part with them, but I realized that I could definitely own this Rolls as well even though traditionally a Rolls is not my thing

That said- If you're seriously thinking to sell your OTO car- Please let me know the color & specifics as I've been looking for one...
