49 meters OAL wave-piercing hull with sponsons. Launched this summer. Built by Palmer Johnson in WI. Biggest full carbon composite yacht built to date. (72 meter hull in fab now!!) Accommodations for 12, with 10 crew. Twin MTU V16/2000's. Designed for 32 knots with 50% lower fuel consumption than similar lengths. So, only 500 gal. per hour....

I'm no boater, but just read that Mercury has a new 1,550hp motor @ $163,000 or so. It's good for 150mph...has a 'valet' setting that limits it to 140mph.
