    Good morning, Fchatters.

I have a client looking for an F355 Berlinetta. MUST be a manual transmission. I have been prowling the internet for a couple of weeks now, and it's surprising to me how few F355 Berlinettas are out there.

Color preferences in order are Blu Pozzi (rare), followed by Rosso Corsa, Nero, Canna Di Fucille, then Argento Nurburgring. Black or tan interior, no reds, blues, etc. Might be open to other exterior colors, but that is what I'm looking for currently.

Feel free to post links to cars listed online (it's always possible that I haven't seen them), but I am more looking for a privately held car that may be up for sale in the spring that could be purchased now. As always, feel free to PM me as well if you are thinking about selling yours.

    Thanks, guys.

Definitely hard to find. Your request is the 5th for the same in the last 10 days I believe.

I found mine here about a month ago using the same strategy so I think you're on the right track. I haven't seen much come up on the regular online listings. Seems that some dealers have inventory that don't make it on to autotrader/cars.com/etc.

Yeah, I have been seeing the threads popping up. I wanted to make my own for visibility and also my color choices. :)

'95s (like in your avatar) are getting hard to find as well.

I'll need you to be more specific, haha. I have looked at 355s for two clients in the last few months, they're all starting to blur together.

I think I know the one you're talking about - red Berlinetta with a Challenge grille and Capristo exhuast in Indiana?

Asking prices are certainly headed up. I'm not sure why anyone would sell now unless they had to.

Many don't have a clue what is going on in this market. My prediction is that in 18 months, you will be hard pressed to find a 355B of any colour or year under 100k. The 2.7GTB will be at the top of the market demand and price. I believe this is just the first stage of this rocket. The 355B is simply the nicest and most fun car that Ferrari ever made bar none.

If my 95 GTB was "worth" 100k and all other GTB/GTS' were in the same ballpark give or take 10-15k, i still don't think I would sell my car for the simple reason I don't think I can find another car in the same price range that would truely make me happy. I'm over the 430. My pops is looking for a Scuderia or 458. Nice cars, but neither one would make me happy without 355 manual to complement them.

Agreed. I have no plans to sell, ever. The F355 is and always will be the most desirable car produced in my eyes. It doesn't matter what it is worth to me beyond making sure I have proper insurance coverage.

3.5 years into ownership and she still gives me chills and thrills every time I pull her out of the garage.

Money is not the be all end all. If someone gave me 200gs, forget about it. I would never sell it....but my challenge car......yeh maybe one day.

One my friends is planning on buying my '95 F355 GTB (Red/Tan) (54K miles, Valve guides were replaced early in the cars life, 2012 - complete major, 2013 - engine out again for minor oil leak due to improper cam seal install by tech and full inspection, All records since original owner) . Very well cared for. My friend is planning on buying in March, but if he decides to hold off, it will be up for sale. I don't think I'll advertise since there have been allot of people asking if I would sell my car. The Stoogies know how well the car is maintained inside and out. If you are still looking in April and don't mind the miles, send me a PM if you want to see if the car is still available. I had two shoulder surgeries on my right shoulder a couple of years back, so driving stick can be a bit painful. I have to go a flappy paddle or short shifter car (less arm movement).

the Berlinetta of any year is super rare.. and in that rarity ive oddly seen more F1 gtb's then 6speed..

im in Canada.. across Canada, there was maybe 3 gtb's for sale when I bought mine.

the 355 has been my all time favorite car, since i was 18 (now 36)..
it had to be a Berlinetta. the spider and GTS are beautiful but for me had to be full coupe.

I think I bought exactly at the right time, this past Sept 2014.
I watched/hunted the market for years.. even though I may not have been ready $$$ at that time..

and then found a respectible shape 1997 GTB 6mt 19k miles..at very good price.
it needed abit of intial work, and will need a major spring of 2016.

but if prices are headed where people are suggesting, i will make a better gain on this car then in the markets lol..!

but I wouldnt sell.. I bought this car to keep..

so to the OP, you may be hunting for a while..

Bump, the number of cars publicly for sale online has decreased in the last 3 - 4 weeks. Plenty of Spiders and a surprising number of GTSs... only like 4 manual transmission Berlinettas.

He ended up buying this car. Unsure of what the final sale price was.
