    Schumi didn't drive for ferrari until '96. '89 would have been Mansell or Berger.

    I don't understand the secrecy in the ad...

    Make it Mansell AND Berger: they both had a Testarossa.
    Nigel's one was 79325, a RHD example, sold this year at an auction by Bonham's in June.
    Gerhard's one was Rosso Corsa with Black interior, delivered in May 1989. I don't know its chassis number, but if delivered in May 1989, it would probably have been build in the 80500 to 81500 bracket.

    Berger's was stolen at the the hotel they were staying at in Imola in the mid 90's; also Jean Alesi's 355 was as well......not sure of any serial numbers etc....

    this is a german plate, I have seen this several times in the internet
    the white D in blue is hard to see, but at the end of the 1989 there is standing top 04 and bottom 09 ( when I see it right?? ) and this is then called a seasonally license plate ( from april to september ).
    also between the A and the GB there are 2 stickers, one is for the registration and the other for the TUEV ( technical controle )

    They were stolen but I think it was from the aldrovandi hotel in rome. I was staying there in early 95 and I recall it had happened recently

    Apparently the car was sold to Germany and I suppose the new owner kept the personalized license plate for show, back on the road he has to use the German "semi personal" plate. Same tires, same license plate frame.

    Its the same car. Look close and you will see the "monte carlo parking sticker" in the rear window in both pix.

    they may ask someone who has much more knowledge and pay him for the info. nothing is for free.
    or get knowledge by themself - if they have time for this? they are all state employees, possibly civil servants, and only work according to regulations ;)

    so it is in germany and I think all over the world it will be the same? the bearers of the nation, one bearer than the other ( don´t know if the meaning is the same as in germany? die beamten sind die traeger der nation, einer traeger als der andere )
