hi everyone. i just wanted to introduce myself. my name is vince. recently, in oct. 2014, while i was visiting, i was provided with a gift from an uncle of mine in india, specifically a 1974 dino 246 gtb. it was either take it or he is calling a metal recycler.

this is now an addition to my 77 308 gtb. my uncle got tired of the car as it was taking up space in his backyard and he found it difficult to park his new Bentley. he was the original owner and i have all the records, even the original purchase agreement. the car was originally shipped to England (rhd), and than shipped to india about a decade later. it has about 21,000 miles on it and it has sat in his backyard in a shed since about 1998 and has not been started. his last service was by rolls Royce in delhi india in about 1997/98.
i am in the process of shipping it to Toronto. i know it will need lots of work....the smell of mice pee inside was something else! my 308 gtb has been a restoration which has taken about 9 years. hopefully the 246 will not take that long as, even with my short term memory skills, i think i have learned a few things along the way.
in any event, i look forward to discussing with you folks and reading the various technical threads. if you see my name pop up every now and then, and the question sounds stupid, please be patient with me while i get up to speed on being a dinomaniac.
    warmest regards

I have made arrangements for a container to ship to toronto via ship to Halifax Nova Scotia and than truck/train to toronto. Arrival date, to keep costs down, is March/April 2015. For sure will post pictures as arrival in port...going to
Drive the 20 hours each way from Toronto to Halifax to clear customs personally.Really excited to get my hands on the baby F and start to strip it down. Now all I need is a gt4, but it can't be yellow or red!
