same collection is also selling 2 (two!) Cadillac LMPs from the early 2000s.

 

Is this the wright place, section for These cars? Think so, or?

 

I was offered one of the Cadillac LMPs many years ago.......they had pulled the engine electronics...some really top secret Delphi stuff at the time. It will be interesting to see if the ORIGINAL race electronics are back in the cars.

 

So these cars have 0 racing history? And the 430 is a GT2 or GT3 or GTC?

 

They are Talking about the Cadillacs. The Ferraris racred, see the discriptions.

 

They say the 575 has never raced and are very vague about the other 2. They mention races that the model participated in but not the actual chassis.

And, it's a GT, not an N-GT

 

I would take them all! Who knows I may just bid on one....

The all look great but the 575 is the one I'd chase..

 

Jerome, I wish these were your cars and those were your asking prices.....if you add all those amounts you are still probable short of the reserve price just on the 575

 

I am guessing take Jerome's numbers and triple them to get close to the reserve numbers. It's a good thing I haven't won the lottery because I would need to build a new facility to house at least 2 new trophies.

 

I would say:

575 = around 500$
430 = around 350-400$
360 = 250 up to 300$

 

Is Barret Jackson the best place to sell cars like this?

 

The 575 never raced but looks good in the GPC livery. Ah what a wonderful time it was in FIA GT when the 575s and the Prodrive 550s raced.

 

IMO, no. I would think these cars would do better at Amelia Island, Monterey, or somewhere in Europe.

I'm sure those Delphi boxes are child's play compared to today's racing (or road car) ECUs. hopefully you could get your hands on them.

 

Is the 360 a challenge car that was modified to GT specs or did it start life as a GT car?

My guesses:

360 - 230k
430 - 280k
575 - 450k

No racing history for the 575 and the fact that it was never really successful will not help. Plus it seems they are still expensive to run.

 

360:
All N-GTs were built from Challenge Cars by Michelotto. GTs built ground up by Michelotto and the Factory.

 

The 360 GT series (N-GT and GTC) were built by Michelotto on a 360 base. The challenge car discussion is a moot point as there is little in common. The Challenge Stradale was actually homologated so that certain modifications could be incorporated in the final version (GTC)

The 575 - a disaster of an exercise - was built in response to the successful Prodrive 550s at Ferrari's demand by N-Technology. An awful car to drive and race and outrageously expensive to try to run.
