Believe me mate, I have seen a lot of mind numbing posting on here, you don't win that prize, even though you seemingly have been constantly accused of it, you are learning the ways grasshopper, besides you keep putting a smile on that miserable Aircon Pete's face..
So Krafty, what do you think about Mercedes making a special model to celebrate their WCC win ... LH's is black and Nico's is white? ... Mercedes-Benz Celebrates F1 Success with Two Limited Edition SL63 AMG Models Pete
Well I would not turn my nose up at either of them, look's wise, both look really nice to me, still Ferrari wins for me in that department, but engineering I bet and would imagine they are the business, and sound bloody awesome.
Initially sold as pairs - talk about brand loyalty : "At first, the cars will only be sold as pairs, for a whopping 629,510 ($784,885) price in Germany (including VAT). Later on they will also be offered as individual units, from 320,110 ($397,790) each" Best, Sammy
Although the black one will likely be on fire more, or come down with a sudden broken brembo's error. Not good on the Autobahn.
Nico RosbergVerified account ‏@nico_rosberg #HappyBirthdayLewis - 30!! Have a great party! This day is good for me. You are old now, so hopefully it will be easier for me this year
Nico Rosberg has posted a tongue-in-cheek birthday message to Lewis Hamilton after the world champion turned 30 on Wednesday. Friends since boyhood, Rosberg and Hamilton turned bitter foes in 2014 under the strain of their exclusive battle for the world championship. But in a gracious act of reconciliation, Rosberg sought out Hamilton after the Englishman emphatically clinched the title in Abu Dhabi and sportingly congratulated his team-mate on his triumph. Rosberg, still a mere fledgling at the age of 29, has contacted the birthday boy with a cheeky yet charming message:
Nico only had a chance against Hamilton due to his ridiculous reliability and qualifying nonsense. If the Merc is more reliable Hamilton is going to get the 3rd title earlier imo.
+1 Unless nico can sort his race pace and race craft because he definitely has the raw qualy pace to match hamilton I don't think he will be able to though. Hamilton too damn quick in the races
Did I do something wrong? Can't read between the lines from the posts that filtered down. Yeah essentially, Nico's qualifying wasn't an issue where as his race pace wasn't as great as Lewis. I think another factor is the grid might be closer and Lewis is a better driver getting through the field, Lewis overtook Nico a number of times whilst I struggle to remember Nico overtaking Hamilton and making it stick.
Just that you where wrong that Rosberg was in the running only because of superior reliability when both had 3 DNFs (I really don't count Rosbergs' Abu Dhabi's stubborness to drive the race out as a race finish as he drove over half the race with a broken everything on that car). In Canada they both had a failure but Rosberg managed to finish the race so I'm not counting that as a DNF of course. Ham had 2 serious tec issues in quali, Rosberg none that I can remember. So as it stands: Ham Ros Race DNF because of car failure: 3 3 Issues during race not resulting in DNF 0 1 Quali issues 2 0 So Rosberg has a ''ridiculous'' reliability record, with 1 less failure than Ham. IMO things just get forgotten quickly. Same as the Vettel/Webber things...it was ALWAYS Webber with issues according to this forum but that wasn't true. They had a lot of issues over the years and the score was almost even, with Vettel having lost far more points due to DNF's that weren't his fault. It's just a fact that for certain drivers when they DNF a LOT more noise gets made due to never ending whinging from either the driver or his fans...
I still laugh when I think about the times you and toil raved on about what a brilliant driver Hamilton was because he'd started at the back of the grid and "fought" his way to the front, and how Nico could never do that. That had to stop when Nico did the same thing, hey? Not so hard when your car is 1-2 seconds a lap faster than the others.
