a blizzard in Cannes is very bad luck indeed!
996 GT3 RS chasing down another 996 GT3 RS, and a 3.8 RS! This is Hong Kong Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bill, just fantastic, and in Porsche racing white too. The thing about the awesome new 991 GT3 is that it helps you appreciate the end-of-an-era 3.8 RS even more!

Damn Joe, that is an AWESOME pic !!!! I remember BH Porsche had a Silver/Red RS for sale when I was looking...almost bought it but it did not have PCCB. Beautiful car !! Bill
This below is the car you looked at, when it was new. Good for you for holding out for PCCBs, I think an RS should have them, as well as racing seats. Image Unavailable, Please Login
FWIW, there was another GT Silver with red trim RS (#3405), and it had PCCBs. It came with red wheels though. Image Unavailable, Please Login

that's an Fchatter's car...I'll let him self identify. great car, and ordering AC delete...good, and brave, man.
The first owner who ordered the AC delete kept it just 3 years. In the USA a non-AC car is difficult to place, unless its a track-dedicated car. By way of example, this orange 3.6 RS remained unsold for 2-3 years as a new car. Look closely and you'll see it also had the lightweight headlights package (no washer nozzles either). Ive read many who say: "that's the way I would spec my RS". But in reality if they were spending their own money, that's clearly not the way they would spec their car! Image Unavailable, Please Login
yep! that's how we end up with so many red/tan Ferraris, or cars ordered in "launch" color schemes...when the $$$ is on the line, people get risk averse
The only delete package I could live with is the radio delete because the 997 RS makes such a great sound!!! As it is, I don't think I have ever switched the radio on. Correction: I have never switched the radio on! Image Unavailable, Please Login

No front spoiler!? And whats the small area of orange, near the wheel, where part of the spoiler would be? ...strange.
That's how the 3.6 RS looks without the rubber/plastic splitter. The pic is pre-delivery before the spoiler was fitted, note widow sticker still in evidence.
Supposedly this is that car in this video...driven by his son Cam (?) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWCU7UVNWxA]Bruce's Boxster.m4v - YouTube[/ame]
