Stripe on the boxer trim RED ? I've never seen a red stripe on a boxer trim - besides the upper color is red.

I'll be pulling the engine at the end of the month to rebuild it

 

I am pretty sure my paint is original based on the patina, but I always thought it was a red stripe on top of the black. Now that I look closer it is: silver - black stripe - red stripe - black. Maybe it was an option on the color of the stripe? Either way, I do like your Series 2 look with the bumper and the driving lights.

Sorry, E-Dino, your painting could not be Original, because "banderole Nero" was everytime matte Finish and not glossy.

BTW the interior of 13848 is Pella Nuvola not Azurro.

I don't recall seeing "Nuvola" before. Is that a rare selection? Just curious... I thought there was a photo of your car with a light blue interior. If Nuvola = "Cloud", I would have guessed it to imply something more white or gray.
