P1....must be nice. I'd love to see that car sometime.
Congratulations!!! - and absolutely can't wait to see pics and hear your thoughts on the first day!!! I can't imagine how excited you must be! Rob
Well it's still not here. The driver texted to say it would be delayed a bit due because he got delayed on route to his earlier delivery. Hopefully will be here soon. I'll be out driving it once it arrives.
Mark...you state the date when you'll bring her out AND WHERE!...you'll probably have a rather large gaggle of us show up to see her!
Can't make Cars and Coffee next weekend but maybe we could do a lunch somewhere the following week. Here are some pics to hold you until then... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It did and I've already put over 130 miles on it since it arrived. It's absolutely glorious to drive and looks amazing in person. People who had seen it before I had kept telling me the pictures didn't do it justice and, even though I thought it looked just fine in pictures, they were right. In pictures thus far the metallic flakes in the paint are either not pronounced enough (making the paint appear darker than it is), or way too pronounced (making it appear way brighter, i.e. "blown out", than it is). But in person it just turned out perfectly. At some point I'll find the right lighting and take some proper photographs of it that should show it looks in person. For now it's quick snaps with the iPhone because I just want to jump in and drive it all the time This car is going to see a LOT of miles on it
Great color combo. I'm glad it has contrasting colors, I've seen pics of P1's in just one color, and they look pretty bland for a million dollar plus car. I'm sure it performs ridiculously. It'll probably be hard to remain anonymous in lol. And I'm glad to see it won't just be a garage queen. These cars are meant to be driven.
Thanks. Yeah take that car and... add 285 HP (without adding any more weight) of which 176 is instant-torque electric, then improve; brakes, tires, seats, headlights, steering, suspension, aerodynamics, and chassis stiffness then lower it and add significantly more downforce. BTW, do all of this without adding any weight and make only 375 of them ever. Now you get the difference between 12C/650S and P1 But the 12C/650S is still pretty darn awesome and definitely more of a daily driver than the P1 due to higher levels of comfort and luxury. My other exotics are; 650S Spider, 458 Spider and FF.
Spotted a red 308 at a shop on North Polk Street in Pineville on Saturday. There was also a silver Bentley in the parking lot. Also spotted an all black Audi R8 on highway 77 near Huntersville on Saturday.
