These seat is an ordinary OMP Grip, made in 2005, material is glass fibre. The Challenge seats were made in Carbon fibre. But they are nice anyway! But I think you have to correct the price..
You would think so, but I was looking at a pair of factory Recaro's for my RX7 and they want $4000 - $5000 for them. If keeping original is important to people I guess they will pay.
Actually the 96 cars had those seats they changed them for the 99 cars Mine had a evoluzione 2 seat in red ... Fibre And there was only the omp badge .. No challenge embroidery...

original seats for the 355 challenge are OMP VID carbon kevlar OMP VID carbon it depends on when the kit was ordered.
sorry little precision the seats for challenge are VID carbon CS 665 95 ( 4,7kg / 5,3kg ), and RAC carbon kevlar HA 683 ( seat weight 5.5 kg / 5.9 kg ) i' ve been looking at old catalogues from omp , and you never find those models.... i do guess that it was a special production..... the closest that you could buy ( i am not sure that they are still available ) is ( or was ) HA 679 , ARS carbon , but they are from 2007 and they are heavyer , but they look like the VID and RAC )
