Thanks everyone! Yup I've been all smiles this past weekend. Today I am away from home, unfortunately, and haven't had a chance to drive yet! Even with the break-in precautions I went through one tank of gas over the weekend in approximately 100 miles. Hmm.... :)

Joel, lol! I think I got every CF option except the wheels caps. I like the look of CF, but personally wanted the yellow wheel caps.

Didn't even know those were an option yet. I think yours looks good with the yellow shields. :)

Call me old fashioned, but the yellow shield is the Ferreri Scuderia team logo, which is why it is significant to be on the fender. The carbon option for shields is similar, to me, to having a country's flag in black and white on a the shoulder of a uniform. It gives a familiar look, but lacks the emotional impact...

AND I really like the yellow shields! :)

Hey Keith, are there floor mats for the rear seat passengers?

I don't think so (I haven't checked back there yet, lol). Plus I ordered the additional floor mats and my car only came with those (and not the regular pair). Apparently there is a supplier issue with the floor mats and my pair will be mailed out shortly. Not sure if there are any in the rear though... I don't think so but will verify tomorrow for you Dave.

    The car has been great!

I was sure to adhere to the break-in procedures recommended in the Owner's Manual, which went by very quickly. I now have 1,400 miles on the car after three weeks of driving (the car was being detailed for 2.5 weeks as well) and it's been pure joy. The car has *plenty* of power for a daily driver, looks great, gets a lot of looks and thumbs up from onlookers, etc. The second day I had it a little 6 year old boy staring at it parked as his father walked off. I approached the father and asked if his son wanted to get a photo sitting in the driver's seat. They were both very happy. I find the car brings a lot of positive emotions to people, even when they aren't in the car. Onlookers tend to smile/be in awe when they see the car (those that notice/care at least). That's a really neat part of the experience.

The car has had a few "hiccups" too. The battery has been less than stellar. During my first week of ownership one time after turning on the car it threw 5 different errors at me (Manetino failure, AVH failure, ESC failure, Take To Dealer, etc.). I turned the car off, got out, locked it, waited 30 seconds, got back in, turned it on and the computer had reset itself and cleared out all the errors.

Fast forward 3.5 weeks later (after the car had been detailed for 2.5 weeks on the trickle charger). I drove the car home the day I picked it up from the detailer no problem. Then the next day I was in a lot of stop and go traffic and ran a lot of errands that were close to each other (i.e. a lot of turing the car on and off) and I got 6 errors turning the car on at the supermarket. I tried the procedure I mentioned above 5 times but couldn't get the errors to go away. The car even idled rough and had less power than normal. I called Ferrari of Atlanta and they immediately thought it was a battery issue (probably the battery not sending enough amperages to the central computer). I told them the car had been on a trickle charger for 2.5 weeks, how it ran fine that afternoon when I picked it up, and how I had been running errands all day. They said it was okay to drive home even with the errors (basically that the car was putting itself into safe mode to protect itself). I didn't touch the car the rest of Saturday (Valentine's Day) or at all on Sunday. Monday morning I had the car flatbedded to FoA. That morning I turned on the car and again Central Computer error. I turned it on a 2nd time 10 minutes later, same error. Got the car to FoA and when I turned the car on to drive it off the flatbed the errors cleared out (of course, haha!). FoA were super accommodating. They immediately ran a diagnostic on it, couldn't find anything wrong, but were sure it was battery related to the car being off and on Saturday running errands. I drove the car for a few hours the rest of the day and no issues.

The only other issue was yesterday when the Tire Pressure Monitor System told me two tires had issues. That was due to the cold weather and the resulting change in PSI. We checked the pressure in the tires and recallibrated the TPMS, no issues since.

So the car has been a bit "temperamental" for a daily driver, but nothing too bad I guess for a Ferrari. My assumption is I shouldn't have too many more issues like this since I'll be daily driving it and putting a lot of use/miles on it. It's no Garage Queen for sure. I think at 1400+ miles I've already put more in one month than many here do in one year. :)

I will say this, I've noticed a lot more recently how BAD the roads in Atlanta are, haha. I guess it's a combination of me being so close to the ground and being in an expensive sports car that I don't want to ding. If the City of Atlanta is reading this post PLEASE start repaving the roads ASAP. Haha! :)

Keith, thanks for the extensive info. And that explains why Michael sent me detailed instructions today about what you described above, and what to do. My flatbed back to the dealer is a much longer trip...

Nice experience you had with the 6 year old. I'm looking forward to things like that, on top of the driving.

Absolutely! My 16 year old nephew almost died from happiness when I took him for a ride with the top down in Atlanta the other week. It's nice to share our enthusiasm with others.

60 miles since last night when it rolled out of the transport. Totally addictive.

I've been a model of restraint with my 70 miles since getting it last night. Any time behind the wheel is exceptional. :)
