I don't get it either. I've seen pictures of the car when it was crashed. Didn't look like too big of a deal to me. I think it was on eBay a few months ago for about 100k or even less. If the snorkel were gone, I don't think anyone would really care about the history.

seller seems like a jerk based on "Questions and answers about this item". also a pretty misinformed seller "less then 400 in the entire world."
Not to mention he insists on it being a collector car and only of interest to collectors. THAT CS is a driver for goodness sakes

After much clamoring & constant contact with my Hagerty value rep they have conceded to the numbers provided and updated the Stradale valuation chart. I could not get them to reflect past (even semi recent) history but they have updated the chart to a much more favorable & much closer reflection of current market trends. Let us be assured that they will be watching both the Barrett-Jackson CarFax hickey car & the Gooding spectacular example this weekend closely. Current data point looks good; well done. #1 at 170k plus...that is in the right ballpark at least. A lot of their charts are just flat-out wrong. Obviously this one was as well.
Yeah, I know. I did explain that exact scenario using several deltas (your & my car included!). However more than anything at least its more in-line now. I cringed at the thought of people using that old data from last month as gospel as they whipped out their smartphone & showed everyone how "in the know" they were on prices using that chart. At least now its acceptable. Amen.
Yup. Almost 5 years. CS is still running great. I've done nothing but yearly service. Will do a major this year. She's warm and safe in my underground garage.
I've seen this car come up for sale what seems like several times. Someone on FChat must have looked at it at some point? I'd be curious on the actual condition of the car. Aside from the snorkel it looks nice, but obviously pictures can be deceiving.

There is Giallo at Salt Lake Ferrari formerly Steve harris with black / yellow seats. Gorgous example. If anyone is seriously interested pm and I can get you more info. I think 169k was the number when I went over to see about it.
