I passed 40,000 miles this summer. If I want to sell it for any decent amount of money its now or keep going. I am sure I will just keep rolling. I want to see it pass 60,000 or maybe 70,000. Anyone else plan on letting the odometer roll? Where do you think you will throw in the towel?
If god loves me at 99,999 miles it will get hit by lightning and the insurance will give me enough to buy another one

You want God to prove he loves you by striking your car with lightning? Hmm...

I don't have one yet, but if I am ever blessed with one, I plan to drive it until I die, and then my kids can worry about whether it's lost a lot of value.

At some point, condition will trump miles.

Don't care. I'll keep it pristine. Worth everything no matter how many my miles it ends up with.

Yup, at this point miles are just a perceived indicator of condition or the amount of life of the car that has been used up. Perception matters whether true or not. When they are 30-40 years old no one will care if the odometer says 30k or 130k. Condition will be the only thing that matters short of time capsule cars with virtually no miles on them.

I don't care about mileage at all. As long as the mechanics are fine and it's not a rebuild, it's a keeper.

52k here and going strong, not worried about resale. My attitude is drive it and enjoy as much as I want, then when the time comes resale is what it is. Worrying about miles during ownership would take away from the fun...

55k on my 348 and still driving her. While there will be the usual "I'm not buying a Ferrari unless it has less than X miles on it" buyer.. I believe the more informed buyer will look at the condition of the car and the maintenance records.

I know I've seen some Ferrari's with less miles on them and they look beat down.

    Just my opinion...

+1. What's the point in owning a garage queen and having to constantly work about miles? So far a 355 can't really be looked at as an "investment". Drive it until it stops being fun or they take your license away. Maybe by then it will be considered a classic and the miles won't matter.

I think mine is somewhere around 40-42k miles. Shows you how much I car about what the odometer says. I don't get to drive it enough. I would never turn down a good drive or event because of the mileage piling on. Most fun I have had in years was a 7-800 mile drive one weekend.

I've got 54k miles on mine now and no plans to limit mileage. I'm averaging around 4k per year, so I'd expect to hit 100k in the next 10-15 years.

I didn't buy it with any intent to sell it, so it makes no sense to limit mileage.

I totally agree Pete. You wouldn't believe the number of low mileage cars I saw at the Barrett-Jackson auction this week. I couldn't imagine owning my F355 with the sole intent of making her a garage display. It would be a real tragedy to miss the incredible experience of driving these cars. Can't put a price on the smile on my face. So mileage be damned, this car is a toy for me, not an investment.

I plan on driving, enjoying my spider. No plastic Grand-Ma covers for it. I just blew out the interior with compressed air last night so it's ready to drive this weekend

bought my 1997 GTB this past Sept.. it had 19,500miles on it..
drove it 700kms home.. so approx 430miles..
probably added another 1000miles in just the 4-5weeks I got to drive it before storage..
so im somewhere just under 22,000 miles now..

come spring/summer 2015.. I will be driving it as much as possible/daily.. thats why I bought it..! only time will not drive it is in rain..

no intentions to sell.. i just bought it.. therefore I have no worries about adding miles..

41,000 miles on my '98 GTS, 6500 of which I put on in my two years of ownership. With all of the work I have had done to it in the last two years (most recently a major and valve guides) it is in better condition, better sorted, and runs better than most low mileage garage queens that so many prospective buyers are looking for. I'm having way too much fun to ever consider selling it and plan to drive it like I stole it!
