I guess simple question would be who is good for the community overall by their actions and behavior? Thanks. I nominate PeterS. (Just so he can rant about all the responsibilities associated with being F-Chat Ambassador).
I would like to nominate zoowho2 for single-handedly generating 48,910 pageviews (as of this posting).
I would nominate The Mayor. I know he took some time out when things were busy, but the guy never ceases to have a balanced and fair view of things when I see his posts. He's friendly, actively promotes members meeting and developing real relationships outside of the internet, and has vast Ferrari experience. He puts himself out to be friendly and approachable if you contact him, and in my experience, given the guys position in life, he really doesn't have to be as approachable as he is. Other than the mayor, carbon is also someone that has a great balance between having fun in the threads that need it, but also the ability to contribute in a balanced manner in the more 'deep' threads. As someone who tends to be put off-balance real quick by some of the dullards that attack posters in some of the threads, these guys (and others too) are posters that I enjoy reading the opinions and views of, and can actually say have learnt from
Oh, honourable mention to joker, and mrs joker, and not just because Mark managed to post pics of mrs j, and get away with it - he's a role model!!
I nominate ROBB. We had a drama-filled year in the 348/355 section and he consistently provided a positive example for all to follow. FTW!
I will nominate Carbon McCoy. Great addition with his infos about almost every car you ask him. Very active off the internet as well. Great passion for the brand
I nominate Ron (Toggie). Great guy, has been deserving of the honor year after year. In addition to his contributions here, he's also very active in Ferrari Club of America Mid-Atlantic Region, was instrumental in managing the national FCA meet this year and has been promoted to Chairman of FCA-MAR. Nice nice guy, always a kind word and very giving of his time and talent locally and virtually here on fchat.
I second the nomination. Robb constantly introduces new and insightful threads and is always a positive influence on all in the 348/355 forum. I doubt that you'll ever find a more dedicated member. Henry
Thanks, man. Been considering sticking both hands in a blender reading the Disneyland Measles thread. Been feeling kinda low. This lifted my spirits. Appreciate it.
it's much deserved. and if you stick your hands in the blender, make sure your surgeon gives you hooks that can use F1 paddles
The person I most enjoy reading responses to my idiotic posts is Visla. The person who makes the most sense is Piper. The person who makes me scratch my head (in a good way) is Jerry Annuakki. The person who has been nothing but kind is Senna1994. And I think GermanDino's posts and knowledge is just amazing. I vote GermanDino
+1 on Robb as the the 348/355 can be feisty place to enter and he does an amazing job of keeping it positive, upbeat, great content without bashing newcomers or others. Ciao
I believe the title of Ferrari Chat Ambassador would fit perfectly Rob from the 348/355 section and Terry from the 550/575 section. Two very nice and helpful gentlemen that do our forum and the Ferrari brand proud. Kind regards, Nuno.
How about Rifledriver Brian Crall? He always helps out. His advice is always spot on even though it can be difficult to accept at times.
+1 He is also a judge at the Cavallino,I would love to see how Brian deals with some of the blue blazer crowd. D.
I'll second Toggie, Piper, Rifledriver, and Fatbillybob. And can we nominate Mods, as well? If so, I'll throw Mike Seals out there.
