Yes. Many times. What would you like to know?

No customs there so you must clear at an AOE both coming and leaving. No fuel there either. No FBO for that matter.

Well, curios about accommodations-recommendations and the swimming pigs in particular. We also usually do MYNN but wanted to branch out.

Depending on what you're looking for, we regularly go to Stella Maris (MYLS) on Long Island. There are a couple of nice places to stay, and the beaches and fishing are great. Not much glitz or nightlife, if that's what you're looking for, and no casinos.

Use VRBO or Homeaway for a house. Otherwise stay at the Yacht club.

Swimming pigs are fun for an hour.

It's a great island. Expensive and not much to do but that's the whole point.

Like Don said..... Long Island is great too. There are 50 some islands in the Bahamas. I quit going to MYNN years ago. If that's what you want, just go to Miami. Miami is easier and better.

I would call and run your questions by the yacht club. A good family friend has a house on Staniel and they leverage the yacht club for almost everything (golf cart rental, fishing guides, provisions...), I think (not sure) that the Yacht Club and Watermakers Air (scheduled flights from FLL) are the same owner....

Last time we went down there was a megayacht named "Privacy" in port, the owner of said yacht and the owner's girlfriend all present were swiming off the back of a fishing boat that was near the end of the pier.

I believe that "Privacy" is Tiger Woods little boat.

Did I read correctly that the MYES airport has been shutdown indefinitely?

There's a NOTAM that says it's been closed.
