That would actually be very cool (although compromising driving dynamics). Make it electrochromatic too. I bet it would give the cabin a very airy and space-like feel.

Unique Ferrari's is a good thing - to a limit when bad taste overcomes individuality. That orange car is awful. Owner will drive along feeling happy in a ghastly looking car, he doesn't care. They'll make many cars, why even bother getting worked up over one or two ugly ducklings?

That's the second Rosso Dino LaFerrari that we know of and for what is worth I'd like to remind it's a Historic Ferrari coloras per Ferrari themselves. Many will remember a Rosso Dino Enzo that used to attend Crystal Cove meetings and I recall a recent superb example of RD 458 spider from Fchat member isuk.

We're all here to express our opinions but resorting to call "vulgarity" a color choice you don't like seems too close to disrespect. Yes, you have the right to, but most would choose more elegant ways of disagreeing. I follow hundreds of colour threads here and I usually get to read extremely opposed opinions articulated in most exquisite manners. Call it a gentlemen's agreement if you'd like.

Unless you have a picture of the door sill with a paint id proving otherwise, that's certainly not Rosso Dino. That car looks a lot more more toned, resembling the dutch 'oranje'.

That was my first thought, too. Then I've seen a couple more pictures and am still in doubt but would bet Rosso Dino if I had to.

If anything this makes me suspect even less that it's Rosso Dino. WB and lighting on both those pictures is pretty neutral (looking at the rear half of the car in the first pic) so any distortions in hue caused by the camera should be minimal. RD is much redder.

Is no one getting this car's VIN?!?

Also, there's not even a question - it is most certainly not Rosso Dino. There's a 458 Italia here in SoCal liveried in that exact shade of orange.

    Yes - orange. :D

I saw the car on multiple occasions, but the owner never lifted the bonnet so I was never able to get a shot of the paint code sticker. If I had to guess, I'd say it's Arancia Atlas (Lamborghini color?).

As shown in the pictures below, the first two are of the aforementioned orange 458 Italia. The third picture is of a Rosso Scuderia Challenge Stradale; the fourth picture is a Rosso Scuderia 360 Spider; the fifth picture is of a Rosso Scuderia F12 with a Rosso Corsa 599 off to the right; the sixth picture is of the rear of the Rosso Corsa 599 with the Rosso Scuderia F12 off to the right. Finally, the last picture is of a Rosso Dino Enzo. I think that covers Ferrari's current gradient spectrum of non-metallic orange-to-red paint colors. Note the clear difference in color between the Enzo and the 458. Rosso Dino is like a beefsteak tomato that hasn't quite yet ripened, whereas as the orange 458 is like ...an orange.

I contacted the dealer and they said "triple layer orange metallic". Let's see if they can provide a specific name.

The black and gold combination is beautiful but, in my opinion, it would look better with black brake calipers.

Gold wheels on the black car look perfect. First time I actually liked to see a black LF
