Are there any high end ready built miniatures of the 330 GTC? I'm looking to something in 1:12 or 1:14 similar in quality and finish to a Brianza.
I just haven't seen anyone who makes one...

Thanks, the bbr doesn't look all that compelling.

Any opinions on this AMR? it's $700 which seems pricey for 1:43. I don't really know what I'm looking at so would appreciate perspectives... What does Factory built mean?

AMR has a long history in whitemetal 1:43 handbuilt models.

They are becoming more and more valueable because production stopped several years ago.
Factorybuilt-models are built at AMR. Allways in limited editions and to a very high standard.

    These are true collector-classics.
I presume you got the pic from miniwerks. Miniwerks is one of the top-internet-retailers in the market. Superb product, packaging and handling.

The price of factorybuilt AMR's has increased considerably over the last years.
Keep it in a displaybox, and save the packaging really good! It will not decrease in value.

Buying one is not like buying a hotwheels.. its a piece of art!

Good luck, collecting handbuilts is a great (expensive) hobby!

I have two AMR 330GTCs. I think I paid about $300 each, and did keep all the packaging, etc.

Does anyone know someone who can repaint these models? I know it would decrease the value, but I'd like to have one in the same colors as my 1:1 GTC.

    Thanks.

    Jack

BBR is quite compelling but i guess it depends on your taste and what you're after. AMR does incredible work as well...

    AMR:

you could ask Laurent to repaint the car, he will do a great job!
but I wouldn't.... I would buy an unbuilt AMR kit on ebay, ask Laurant to build it in the right color and sell a built one that you have.
(moneywise, the best way to go)

BBR is made of resin and photo-ets metal, the AMR is a true whitemetal classic.
Both are really nice, allthough I think the AMR will age better..

I heard that Amalgam are making the 330GTC, but that might just be a rumour as I haven't been able to confirm it.

Looking good. Airtrax kits are...tough, but very unique in a sense that nobody else is making these cars.

Hello.... Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't MG Models Plus produced a 330 GTC in 1:18 scale several years ago?

You're making that model look fantastic! I also build models, it's not just assembling a kit, there's a lot of work to make one look that great, you're doing it!

I apologize: never meant to take credit for this myself. This is being built by master modeler Marshall Buck, to mirror my actual 330GTC #10285. I'm posting his progress pix. So thanks for the comments, but Marshall is of course, a ringer.
