I never thought of myself as an organized person at all and when I sold the308 because my health and my wife's stroke I knew it was the prudent thing to do! BS if you don't half to sell don't, I can't tell you how much I regret her loss! FWIW, Lost

Sorry to hear of your personal issues and I wish you well.
After 14 years of ownership I sold my 308 just a little over a year ago. I loved the car and enjoyed it a lot but after a while I realized I was not using it as much as I should have. Being retired I would have thought I would enjoy it more but for some reason I became maybe more concerned about driving it. I did not take it out in the rain and at 1st snow it went into storage. I put 30K miles on it in 14 years. I decided it was time and I had my Ferrari experience so on to a more comfortable fun car that works in the rain as well as the drive. I missed it for maybe 3 months until I got my new ride. So being in the red zone of my life the time for a convertible arrived. I now have the same thrill looking at my car and knowing I will drive it anytime I feel like it without concern for weather. I still go out into the garage once and a while and like to look at it just as I did with the 308. Nice little kitty , 2012 Jaguar XKR convertible in Italian Racing Red. Life is short so enjoy the ride.

Sorry to hear of your and your spouses health issues. It certainly makes it hard to enjoy oneself.

I know what you mean about not driving as much as you would like. My car is neatly tucked to the side of my garage and will not come out until the salt has been rinsed from the road by a spring rain sometime in late March or April.

But then I think about the smile it puts on my face on a sunny spring, summer, or fall day! What a pleasure whether just cruising along or working up through the gears at full throttle!

It is likely that in the next three or so years I will need to sell my 308, it will be hard for sure. I have been considering keeping it and perhaps I will but living in a place where the may speed limit is 30mph it would seem kind of silly to have such a car. I was considering a 208 but maybe keeping the 308 makes more sense.

My kids will have to worry about selling all of my toys, because I'm not getting rid of any of them. Yeah - they don't get driven enough. Yeah - sometimes the upkeep is a pain. But, I won't sell them.

I go through this every once in a while too. Replace it and that goes away for the most part. I recently bought a 355 and that fixed everything.

    Really??? Did your 308 sell?

Also, I went to text you a week or two ago and it seems I lost your number. Wanted to ask how you and your family were doing.

Sorry to hear of yours and your wife's health problems,

I know what you were facing, one morning my wife and I woke up after both being layed off the evening before. We discussed selling the Ferrari, and decided to hang on to her.

They say the best way to get over one car is get under a new one!

See, this is what I like about Tom! He's a lot like Rifledriver as in there's no "gray area" to the point he's trying to convey! LOL
