    Yep, looks like it.
It has been moved to the "SOLD" section at Dr. Georg Konradsheim.

Yes, it was repaired and was pretty expensive, even if the rust was less bad than I expected.

Sorry to go over old ground but, Idart said a little while ago that all 3.0 turbo's came with Blaupunkt bamberg fitted as standard, is this correct? My spec sheet has am fm radio with 4 speakers listed, does this mean it's a Bamberg or a lesser unit?

No, mine came with a Blaupunkt Köln - '76. I have the original radio manuals for it and the car was also featured in various magazines and books (originally being a PCGB demo car) so there are pictures of the interior when new to confirm.

Thanks for the reply, sorry, I should have said that I have a US car. I know that EU cars came with various options, but it has been stated here that all US cars had the Bamberg, so just wanted confirmation. I see you are in Ireland, not many there I imagine! Do you have pics that you can post?

Looks great! How does it differ from factory spec? What is the colour called? Congratulations on a very special car!

    Thanks!

Over its lifespan to date various parts have been removed; AC partially removed, later radio, rear wiper removed, autoheat stripped out, front seat changed for a Recaro seat, incorrect front valence with foglights removed. It came with a flat engine lid and also a whaletail that has the smaller second vent, so incorrect for the car. Fortunately I did manage to source the correct one for it that's now fitted.

The original colour is Platnium Diamond 944-9-3 (W1W1) - pretty close to this colour but at some stage in its history a very poor respray was done to this colour.

It has Dress McKenzie tartan / leather interior, so a very nice match for the exterior colour.

Give that the first 400 where "all the same" 1525kg seems heavy? or translated will that mean max capacity?

I'll weigh mine when i get it back on the road.

The trunk plates do not reflect the DIN curb weight but are instead: Total Permitted – 1525kg, Permitted Axle Load Front – 625kg, and Permitted Axle Load rear – 900kg.

Which version of the trunk plate does your 1976 Turbo have?

Does anyone know the history of Porsche VDM steering wheels? I’ve found very little information on the web. Did all Porsche 3-liter Turbos have VDM three spoke steering wheels? Here are a few detailed photos of the hub markings on my 1975 Turbo wheel before I reinstalled it.
