    If it's the same as the F12, it's the rear fog light and it also forms part of the "auto hazard" function whereby the hazards and the fog lights flash in the event of sharp braking. You can turn off the auto hazard function in the menu under "Car setup".

    It also houses the rear view camera, just below the lower row of lights.

    Sorry, my "Stunning" comment was referring to the photograph of the yellow LaF in San Francisco on post # 5130 by 'Itzkirb', not the auto hazard function...;-)
