Thanks! It was a drivers restoration and basic paint job non bare metal. So we were blown away it placed. Was just nice to get our feet wet in a show and have an independent guy look over our work. We lost points for the plexi headlight covers, they were a dealer installed part. And one of the license plate lights was burnt out. The judge wanted to see the horn trumpets a darker shade of red but didn't deduct for it. Next year we have to send your F40 and 512 down.
If you have the documentation on the headlight covers, they normally accept it?? Congrats!! The headlight covers went outlaw in the USA at some point of course, the Dino guys would know the exact year. Great looking car!
Congrats Dan! By the way, you do realize that this sets a new standard for my expectations if I need work done on my car, right?
Oh boy!! Lol!! "I don't believe in reincarnation, I'm only going to live once. I paid for the car so I might as well use it".
Didn't think to ask but he wouldn't have the documentation regardless. Thanks! I do think cars look better without it.
Let me get a head start on a substance abuse problem before you bring your car in for any paint work.
