You better jump on it...Thats a steal.
Maybe they did their own PPI and uncovered something? lol Did you inquire about pricing on the CS they bought from Dallas Motorsports?
Hey John, Nice collection of vehicles! Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time to appreciate what we have. Tomorrow's weather looks good for a nice drive though! - G Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just ran the AutoCheck. Looks very clean. Unless there's something hidden, this might be the last 'good' deal for a CS...
He raised the price by $10k http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-360-STRADALE-FERRARI-CHALLENGE-STRADALE-360-YEAR-2004-/181648994207?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2a4b1faf9f&item=181648994207&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
It "sold" once at 100K IIRC. Hey here's a question; Whats the best way to insure you will never sell your car ? Always ask 20% more than its worth ! If the market moves up then bump the price accordingly. Its foolproof ! "Yes honey we still own it, sorry. Looks like you'll never get that bedroom set" Its got a snorkel because if you ever bought it you'd be underwater from the get go.
Its got a snorkel because if you ever bought it you'd be underwater from the get go.[/QUOTE] Very funny, however, may or may not be true 5 years from now.
I've been through 3 (?) Ferrari bubbles... er.... cycles. I much prefer slow steady growth to the rapid expansion we are seeing now. My Boxer was bought just before the 2008 financial crash so appreciation-wise it sat languidly until a year or so ago. Its tripled in value. Not that that is a bad thing but its got me looking at it differently now and it doesn't like the look in my eyes. As long as the economy hold out and the speculators don't go nuts I think a five year appreciation cycle is due. IMO the CS is a great car to acquire now if one doesn't already have one.
If you still have the wife then its win win. I tend to walk on the marital razors edge. My latest shenanigans will test the theory.
I do and have since added more cars. Gotta be sly about it and put up with frequent *****ing though. She detests the hobby !
Good collecting hobbies; Coins, watches, and pistols. They all hide fairly well. Or so I have been told. Bad collecting hobbies; Cars, long guns and pinball machines.
Stokpro, what is the history you are referring to on the CS referenced in your post? Quote: Originally Posted by Casino Square View Post Just ran the AutoCheck. Looks very clean. Unless there's something hidden, this might be the last 'good' deal for a CS... Already told you history on this one...

prices on CS are pretty crazy. there's a saying in the San Francisco Bay Area among home owners "I can't afford to buy my house". Guess it's true for some CS owners.
