    In the meantime, I ordered a custom license plate. I hope I get my first choice. :)

    The 5 digit number I have requested for my first pick is rather subtle in reference, will mean nothing to most who see it, is easily forgotten, but will be instantly recognizable to anyone from the Maranello factory.

    I'm pretty sure my first pick has been posted more than any single license plate ever, and I'm equally as sure I will be the only one in the US to have it... ;)

    Just a question for the CCC Election Committee, is voting still open?

    I need to determine if I need to hire more experts for my campaign staff, bulk purchase media ads, audition marching bands, arrange a whistle stop tour schedule, charter flights for campaign stops, etc.

    Mostly I need to know if I should keep or cancel my live SuperBowl ads for the campaign...

    Thousands of bats to keep feeding, the bat food overhead is killing me...

    I think the vote should close when MarMist, who is the final word and authority casts his vote. Perhaps you should PM him and request his support. We are all in caucus meetings and will need his vote for ratification.

    Wow, it's so close now...

    When I first saw the above post I felt like I was on pins and needles. So I went to an acupuncturist, and during the session I was fine, but then when it was over I felt like I was on pins and needles again... ;)

    Late breaking news. Speaking of Tennessee, the state has approved my personalized tag request, first choice. That's one more thing off the checklist. Car should be in my garage in the next 3 weeks and the new tag ready in 4. The tag date is definite, the car is estimated, as I am still Stage 90.

    :( :( No joy on breaking out of Stage 90 prison, Michael at FofATL is checking hourly for me. Might be in port, MIGHT be in customs, MODIS still stuck on 90.

    In the meantime, on to things that will distract me in my 12 month odyssey, and hopefully amuse some of you. ;)

    OK, I was notified that I will get my first pick on my personalized license plate.

    Here begins the:

    Guess The License Plate For Dave's Upcoming Cali T Contest (GTLP4DUCTC for short) :)


    Below are the clues:


    - The 5 digit number is rather subtle in reference, will mean nothing to most who see it, is easily forgotten, but will be instantly recognizable to anyone from the Maranello factory.

    - I'm pretty sure it has been posted more than any single license plate EVER... ;)

    - The license plate will speak subtly, yet directly, to the origins of the Ferraris we drive.



    The contest closes February 18 (Enzo Ferrari's birthday). And, no, FEB18 is NOT my license plate.


    I don't image ANYONE will guess it... There, I've thrown down the driving gloves (gauntlet).

    (Thinking about it, I believe Nicholas Cage's character in the movie National Treasure and Benedict Cumberbatch's eponymous role in the Sherlock Holmes BBC series would each make short work of this with the listed clues. But, alas, likely only THEY would...) :(
