Has anyone heard anything about whether or not there is expected to be any sort of hood vent? I know the engine configuration means they're not all fair comparisons, but the Speciale, F12, CaliT, and LaFerrari all have some sort of hood vent.

Journalists? So why should my dealer, Peter's dealer and Manssour's dealer be misleading us saying it looks like the F12? Or do you suggest that Ferrari dealers don't know the difference between their cars?

As I already mentioned a few pages ago, a mule doesn't have to look anything like the production car.

Yes, it seems so. Great addition although I hope they improve the resolution to make it somewhat less Gameboy-ish.

Have not heard anything specific but it would be reasonable to assume there is some form of venting working with the front aero. Although I wouldn't expect something as dramatic as the Speciale, since that cuts into a fair portion of the boot space.

Sorry, didn't get the memo to stop speculating after you posted your message.

Looking forward to seeing pics on Tuesday of the F12-like rear... or not.

No memo, just simple logic to not use the looks of a mule as an argument against those who describe the looks of the production car.

I`ve tried to draw shape lines so we can see am I going in right direction. Lines are very RAW, but I hope surfaces are recognizable. Take a look: http://s22.postimg.org/90hsvo21d/4080800.jpg

Nice job, could you try to draw the the lines of a LaFerrari-type side intake on the photo showing the mule from the side?

How many exhaust tips in the back?
Is the steering wheel new or like the Cali-T/F12?

Nice effort. I like your prediction for the center pillar in the grille - it mirrors the shape of the diffuser.

Alas, it looks nothing like an F12, LOL.

I am convinced rear will look nothing like F12. When I was starting with lines I was attracted by idea to try something like we saw on F12, but it simply doesnt fit at all with rest of the panels.

This is not a mule, it's a pre-production protype with production-intent components, like bumpers, lights, quarter glass, etc. that has been covered up. They're showing the cars already so they've built a few already.

If, by LaF-type scoop, this means the scoop opening is forward leaning instead of aft leaning like I drew (to mirror the daylight opening or window shape), it would not be like on the LaF, since the scoop opening does not cross the door shut line in the lower part of the door. It would still be sited higher up but with a forward leaning edge.

In other words, I don't think it will look like this (exaggerated shapes notwithstanding):

    Wow, good draw!
What is it actually going to look like according to you then?

IMHO it's still too early to tell.

The prototypes appear to be still using modified 458 doors (see the wing mirrors), and covered in hard camouflage too.

Maybe you are showing actual look of new model :D but I dont see it as logical move from Ferrari - why making baby LaF, when you can make incredibly attractive and unique model in current line-up with 308 inspired side scoops like you showed on your first sketch.

Exactly. Ferrari don't tend to repeat themes between cars - except in the days of Testarossa and 348.

In any case, the concept behind the LaF and the shape of the scoop opening is the Tensostruttura theme, with coupled lines and forms following each other. This is not the case here, so looks out of place.

Oh, it's not a mule? Lol...

Just because one panel is changed, covered up or different doesn't mean the rest of the car will look like that mule...... Credit due to your drawing skills, but I'm less impressed by your reasoning.

Amazing job. I have been following your sketches over the last few years and cars. You always seem to be VERY accurate (especially your 458 renders).

    Love your work mate :)

    Excellent work. Thank you.

Since no dealer to my knowledge has so far provided any info with regards to the interior other than the passenger display, MMI, F12 cues. I've started to wonder if there is a possibility that this car will receive fixed seats and an adjustable pedal box? It would be very neat, but perhaps not feasible with regard to the tub?

I just want to acknowledge Mr. Maranello, Milanno, and Ingegnere for their talents. They make the excitement building before the revealing of a new Ferrari even more fun. :)

Oh, the horror. Ditch the box in the center. Looks like a rental car. The static screen should say 'Welcome to Hertz'.
