Yeah the black car has a factory chrome finish. Rare for a 930, only one I've ever seen. Looks great with the white turbo stripes.
Ok I am exaggerating slightly, same colored car w/o the S/R. The car in pic above is owned by some one else. Mine is currently red but not for much longer. Phil
Hi, is this by accident or a trend? Lately almost all the posted Turbos have the decals on the rear fender attached. Before this was very rare... in fact I only saw it once amongst a hundred Turbos. cal
This is the same 930 that Carrera Holdings recently sold. Carrera Holdings Ltd » Independent Motor Vehicle Dealer .

Quick question on the turbo stickers- were these dealer or factory installed. The COA for my yellow 76 has a designation for black turbo script. Phil
Claims original interior and original paint - hmmm. Seats look reupholstered, no stickers on engine bay, seems a little misadvertised?
I love the look of the turbo decals, especially on the periods colors like Minerva blue or Yellow... Not sure it works so well on this black car. There is too much contrast between the black and the light grey decals. I've been toying with the idea of putting some on and I was thinking a matte black on black would be a bit more subtle.
No Turbo decals on my car, but also quite 'seventies' I think. This is how my car was delivered new. It's a picture from 1975 that was sent to me by a person that had seen the Kardex for my car. Everything on this car is on my Kardex, including the safety stripes on the hood and the Gazelle gold wheels. This is probably car #108 and although my car has a Belgian history and this is a car from Belgium it's probably a coincidence that they're exactly the same. I was in doubt about the golden hood stripes, but not any more... Erik Image Unavailable, Please Login
Erik amazing color combo and indeed close to the 1970s 1:28 Eidai Grip Porsche Turbo model (just missing the Gazelle gold wheels). Image Unavailable, Please Login
This doesn't settle your question conclusively, but my #470 has turbo decal/stripe and shows up as shown on both window sticker and COA. So I'd guess that it was likely applied at the factory, but at the very least was ordered and shipped with that discreet car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'll bet many will be added as it captures the period 'vibe' so well! The end of the 'groovy' era. Same with plaid seats; pretty sure the high dollar restoration car that Canepa did added the black watch inserts for maximum sex appeal...
Thanks that is very helpful- I have same note on my 76 COA - Turbo Designation Black. It is also interesting that most of these had optional 1.5 HP starter. Phil
I'm tempted to add the Turbo side decals to my 77 930, as I dig the period mid-1970s look, but I probably won't Plus I'm not sure how they would actually look on Anthracite Metallic (gun-metal gray metallic).
Red graphics, like the GT3RS 4.0 would look great on your car. I wouldn't mind graphics for my Copper Brown car, but nothing would look good on it.
did any of the 930s come with a turbo script running along the bottom side of the car, like the carrera?
